Pros:
  • HALO Jump fun
  • When we had contact it was fun and enjoyable
  • Squads CQB was on point.
Cons:
  • Low contact for BANDIT-2
  • Second half of the operation Bandit-2 had maybe 3-5 contacts that appeared.
  • MASCAS hurt us pretty hard with both SL and Alpha FTL both being black tagged.
  • Enemies that looked like us, with suppressors aren't the best match. Made it extremely difficult to PID and engage.

Pros-
  • Squad was very aggressive
  • Large amount of contact
  • Had a great deal of fun

Cons:
  • Deconfliction was poor sometimes
  • Comms was amiss at some points
  • Resupply was a large distance

Pros:
  • Very fun mission... great OPORD... great job mission maker.
  • Excellent Crew Chief tonight.
  • Comms with 5 were outstanding.
  • Enjoyed this map, seemed to have good performance (at least for me).
  • Good reinsert and multiple resupply LZ's selected.
Cons:
  • Would have been cool to have a fully crewed bird.

Pros:
  • Decent amount of medical, plenty of surgeries.
  • The infantry-based combat is great, it's nice to be boots on ground every now and again.
  • The Halo jump was fun.
Cons:
  • Strange surgery glitch resulting in a patient going into cardiac arrest over and over and we couldn't re-perform an open reduction.
  • Jump comms need improvement or a standard so we all know how it's supposed to be done.
  • Atlas was ambushed in two instances when infantry was supposed to clear the areas.
  • Bandit-4 was unsavable during an instance on an ATC tower.

Pros:
  • Great use of CAS & friendly mortars (130rnds fired)
  • HALO Insert went near perfect (minus check ins) especially considering the high intensity element.
  • Overall everyone seemed to have fun.
  • Much less black-tag casualties than expected
  • Overall great cohesion amongst unit.
  • Key Terrain 3 offered an excellent line of approach straight into weak point of enemy base
Cons:
  • Some squad level leadership black-tags lead to halted movement
  • A couple mishaps with Jump check-ins. Did not hurt much anyway, Jumpmaster (me) frago'd checkins anyways.
  • Communication issues with radio on occasion throughout the operation.

Pros:
  • HALO Jumps are awesome! Excellent Brief, I believe all but 2 members hit their DZs and all jumpers survived.
  • ACE reports were timely and on point tonight! Good work SLs!
  • Buffalo was just absolutely on it tonight, resupply and reinserts were expedient!
  • Excellent first OP performance by 6! Coupled with a stellar job by Bandit-7.


Cons:
  • Not enough Charge-1 HE in the resupply crates, maybe replace the flares with more boom?
  • Resupply crates: For medical we will need the Atlas crate more than the PLT crate 9 times out of 10 (for M.C.).
  • HOW DO WE CONTINUE TO MESS UP JUMP CALL-INS!!!
  • OPFOR w/suppressors can be a bit...extra...
Notes: Resupply can't always be dropped in the PLT's lap...

Pros:
  • Outstanding communication with FAC/CHAOS-2 (Captain Mackey.A) whose instructions were always clear and concise, with meticulous target correlation.
  • Both Captain Mackey.A and CWO Villmarsson.L (TITAN-1) were very supportive and patient with me throughout the mission, and happily answered all my rookie questions.
  • Very responsive mission controller.
  • From an altitude of 2000m, the op looked well designed and seemed to have posed a sufficient challenge for the ground units without being overwhelming.
  • No CAS blue-on-blue incidents (apologies again for last time, Abate.L et al!). I really learned my lesson 2 weeks ago and have become a lot more careful about target correlation and PID. Once again, CHAOS-2 was very helpful in this regard.

Cons:
  • It would be great, in general, to have more targets laser-designated by ground units. It seems to me that this enhances safety and accuracy, and frankly, it's just more fun for everyone.
