Pros:
  • Lots of Action
  • Lots of fun
  • Got to shoot gun
  • Good Squad accountability
  • Leadership
  • All squads did good
  • Atlas is GOAT'd
Cons:
  • Chinook
  • Squads were not in mutual support range, several instances of squads pushing through
  • Respawn took a long time (20 minutes before buffalo was up to take off 25 minutes before back into fight)

Pros:
  • A very balanced amount of contact both infantry and mechanized infantry
  • Lots of medical to work on, no absurd patients (Aka 100+ Large Avulsions)
  • Good teamwork between Bandit and Atlas personnel
  • Resupplies were very helpful
Cons:
  • Initial LZ was a bit too hot and difficult for the pilots to land safely.
  • Comms could be better internally between Bandit-7 and Atlas units and comms between Bandit elements to Bandit-7
  • Indirect Fire is good when used sparsely, meaning having a shell land in the middle of a squad is a bit much and ruins the fun for infantry that are too far gone to save.

Pros:
  • Immersive and well designed operation. Good work from the ZUES's involved.
  • All troopers had a massive amount of enjoyment from all aspects of the op.
  • Challenging environment welcomed.
  • Excellent use of terrain.
  • Heavy sustained contact throughout operation. Squad relished opportunity to match.
  • Top work from ATLAS, assisting and working through casualties.
  • Full platoon with 4 full squads. Wish all operations had these numbers.
  • Aggressive defense allowed us to bring the fight to the enemy and then fallback when necessary.
  • No black casualties.
Cons:
  • No access to packing bandages.
  • Unable to link belts at times.
  • Wrong mortar.
  • Grizzly terrible as we know. Possibility of replacing with Sea Stallion in future operations.

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:

Pros:
  • Good amount of work for Atlas.
  • More than enough surgery.
  • Exceptional trauma care given our resources.
  • Artillery was a persistent threat, complicating care. It was a good wrench in the works.
Cons:
  • Chinook go boom.
  • Communication problems were consistent.
  • CLS work needs to focus on moving casualties to CCP after stopping life-threatening injuries if able.
If you cannot stop the bleeding on your own, call for a medic or find your nearest medic at an existing CCP.

Pros:
  • One heck of a mission, action packed, hardly a moment to catch our breath.
  • Fantastic teamwork in the FTs. Squad comms were excellent. PLT comms (squad to squad) were excellent.
  • B2 did an OUTSTANDING job on our island, we were pretty far out of mutual support for most of the OP, resorted to guerilla tactics and movements and have 160+ confirmed kills FROM JUST OUR SQUAD!
  • After a counter-mortar barrage was ineffective on the OPFOR IDF position, B2 rallied and pushed the FOB the the NW of the AO, and without any supporting elements, assaulted the FOB and destroyed the 6 mortar pits, 2x BTR's, and 2 squads of infantry.
Cons:
  • Lack of CAS support: We had to fight protracted fights all night, found ourselves encircled a ton and a HOG would have really shined!
  • Calls for support while dealing with casualties within the final FOB went unanswered despite being echoed by Bandit-5 (who was acting B6 at the time).
Notes: A special thank you to my squad tonight! You all crushed it and adapted well to unconventional movement orders on the fly! Succession of command was excellent, picking up downed AR gunners SAWs and laying hate, accurate contact callouts, buddy-aid and self-aid, and individual soldier discipline....everything was just on-point tonight!
