Pros
  • OP Concept was solid.
  • The pacing felt excellent!
  • Actual resupply and reconsolidation were done! It's always a massive pro for me.
  • There was a lot of work; it felt like Atlas was busy with something for the entire op.
  • Good CQB; I got involved in helping clear some buildings myself, just filling in holes where they appeared in the ranks.
Cons
  • There was a low turnout of billeted medics, which is always a bummer.
  • The radio backpack is still not whitelisted for the platoon medic, and permissions are still hit or miss (not sure about the perms; I could stitch wounds but could not place lines; this is unusual...). The USP Tactical Backpack really needs to be whitelisted for all platoon-level assets, as each asset is required to be on a minimum of 3 radio nets (the PM, for instance, needs to be on the platoon, HQ short range, and Med/sustainment net, which isn't workable with a single radio).

Pros:
  • Rotary was well utilized
  • Additional missions for AI CSAR which broke up the flight and provided additional missions during INF missions
  • Real and AI CSARs
  • Hot LZs and door gunners got to fire a lot
  • amazing comms with 5 and great coordination witht he troops on the ground, BUFF was in the loop on all movements and LZs
  • Night time is difficult but is always fun and challenging
  • Great inter-flight comms and coordination even when birds were split into multiple flights

Cons:
  • AI door gunners did not work after first missions with them, after they were not working they should have been noted and removed from birds as they took up space from the exfil
  • Timing on insert seemed to have messed up fixed wing strikes upon insert
  • 2x rotary bird went down on inserts, but recovered via CSAR expeditiously

Pros
  • Fantastic OP concept and execution by MC's, extremely immersive environment and contact felt real!

  • Buffalo Flight were consummate professionals (as always), always exactly where I needed them when I needed them, Inserts went smoothly (bonus points for my "close as you dare" fraggo), resupply run was plentiful and on point, OUTSTANDING comms all night long, and the landing on PZ for exfil was one of the sexiest formations ever exhibited in an OP!

  • Misfit-6 and Misfit-7 were absolute pleasures to work with and really got all the things done all night long...Good job keeping your foot on the gas and keeping us moving.

  • Really good movements/bounding by Misfit-4 pretty much the entire OP...they never sat still but kept on seeking better sightlines/coverage of the platoon.

  • All Misfit squads were exceptionally swift and violent the entire OP...with Atlas trailing right in their footsteps. Everyone was pretty switched on with tons of great individual soldier discipline!
Cons
  • I had to put on the PSG hat and enforce I.R. strobe usage during maneuvers and getting people off my resupply/CCP area expediently (this isn't really a CON as I got to RP a hard-ass a bit) .

  • Fawks NVG filters still not working (we the people demand the White Phosphorus filter).

Pros
  • Very good Op. Fit well with the story and was exciting tasking.
  • Excellent work from all element leads in executing the plan!
  • Big shout out to Westcott for getting the Platoon stepped off on time and keeping us armed.
  • Buffalo flight did an awesome job getting us onto our very aggressive LZs.
  • Atlas did a good job keeping up with casualties despite the Op pacing.
Cons
  • Will continue to improve on my understanding of how to utilize Alpha fixed wing.
  • Will work on finding SBF's positions that are a little more long lived for 4.
  • FRAGO for the 3rd objective was not necessary and I should have stuck with the original plan to prevent confusion.

Pros
  • Good teamwork on injuries.
  • Resupply.
  • Good communication between Atlas-1 and Misfit-7, which lead to good execution.
  • No black casualties.
  • Steady work in the whole operation.
  • Overall fun OP.
Cons
  • The radio for one of the members did not work.
  • The radio backpack for leadership in Atlas1 is not spawned in with it, or in the arsenal.
  • During the last assault, some houses were left uncleared so we got ambushed while treating Cas, but luckily the AI missed.

Pros:
  • Overall we loved this WFW OP
    • Definitely one of the best ops I've been too, so much fun.
  • Great tempo
    • fast pace was refreshing even when we did hesitate from time to time.
  • Leadership did a great job maneuvering the elements in play.
  • We had a lot of fun clearing through the buildings and working with MISFT-1 to clear the first town.
  • The Demo on the Airfield after HOG-1 was unable to complete his fire mission was a beautiful sight to see.

Cons:
  • We did notice some communication breakdown in the last AO.
    • MISFIT - 1 didn't get the plan changes and I believe they also missed the call for noise discipline
  • On a squad level:
    • I wish i heard more repeating of orders
    • I could have been more decisive in my orders at times too
    • I'm still getting used to juggling comms and handling a squad I hope to get more practice in the future too.
