7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:

Pro:
Top level medical care
LZ was quite far out which was a long walk for inserts
Some Atlas members was able to have some light engagements
First time player to atlas was enjoyed learning the new systems
SPC.Turn hailed as a very good teacher
Wide range of medical work from very basic to fatal advanced injures
Quick response to injured
No black tags while under care
TL's was fast to respond to Medical calls from Viking 7
Echoing of treatment was very well performed by Team members
Good amount of surigcal cases

Con:
Armi very tired
The reconsolidate plan and secrutity in aquitania was hard to do.
Alot of single riflement and RPG gunners along convoy routes
The pacing at the start was a bit slow but started to creep up as the Operation went on.

Pro:
-2 CSAR
-1 Resupply
-1 Pack Re-insert
-Comms were done right.

Con:
-More re-supply will be nice to increase engagement for rotaries, as to make that happen I guess ground vehicles don't need to load up so much.
-The big re-supply crates flipped both aircraft when unloaded. Will it be possible to go back on the smaller box for ground re-supply and if big crates are needed, then they to be task as airdrop re-supply.

Pro:
  • Absolutely dismantled the AA net. Worked carefully, patiently, and layer-by-layer peeled it back as a team.
  • Great intra-flight coordination -- always had birds up, rotation was planned, no down time
  • All CAS missions hit, no blue on blue, no missed targets and some very danger close hits
  • Mackey.A and Villmarsson.L great work as infidel
  • Really fun mission, challenging but attainable.
  • Fantastic response by rotary for the two CSARs needed

Con:
Frames issues for a bit, a couple of birds lost to the catapult before we realized that the #1 catapult blows birds up

Element Callsign: Viking 5

Sergeant Phillips.B

Pros
  • Good reaction to the initial contact with the MBT.
  • Good movement and react to contact between OBJ 1 and OBJ 2 and rescuing ATLAS Crew
  • ISR kept everyone aware
  • Good placement of contact on objectives
  • Great company in the Stryker, loved functioning as a battle taxi
  • Excellent work from Air assets, less losses and fantastic CSAR.
Cons
  • Slow to reorient after the MBT
  • Blue on Blue due to CQB confusion
  • Contact reports could generally do with an improvement. Last few OPs have not had too many SPOTREPs and Contact Reports
  • There was some 'decentralised' reconsolidation on Objective Alpha which was quite confusing. Although ATLAS was able to save everyone with 0 black tags.
  • I should have notificed that ISR didn't justify setting up mortars on OBJ 2, it slowed down movement

Pro:
Fantastic Squad coordination and Team Leadership.

Everyone in my element heavily praised my Squad Leadership skills, and I couldn't be more proud of myself for stepping up as a PVT.

Everyone was spread out, and engaged all hostiles as reported, which I sent to Viking 6.

This was my first time leading an entire squad, and as a leader of an element, I could not be more proud of my Squads communication.

The entire op was a lot of fun, but, as a Team Leader, I wouldn't mind doing this again.

Great stressing of the 3-1 odds, our CLS did an awesome job in regards to medical.

[RET] [SGT] Blake.H advised on how quiet I was, but I'll fix that by the next op, this is due to my mic volume.

Con:
My element was engaged by 1x hostile soldier in a hallway, of which I should have made the call to get them to go into a room to either the left or right of us, but we eventually cleared all buildings.

I will also advise the reconfiguring of the plan after Aquitania was unexpected.

Pro:
  • Great communication within Atlas-2, as well as with Atlas 1 and 7
  • Excellent medical work within the team, resulting in 0 black tags in our care
  • ^^^^ Shoutout to Dixon.E , who was able to maintain his high performance throughout the entire OP despite not being part of billeted atlas, even after we lost our surgeon, reudcing the team to only 2 medics.
  • Good practise for myself as Atlas TL
Con:
  • Slow rollout, not much to do for Atlas 2 in the first half
  • Lost our surgeon due to connection issues mid-OP
  • Element got seperated in our initial assault on the first town, however where able to re-consolidate quickly again

Pros
  • fun, things went well
  • had a lot of fun despite bravo co op, lots to do for the inf
  • goo time, enjoyed the escalation and spotting targets
  • first obj really fun
  • good team work in squad
  • responded well while in the 1st obj, tactically and medically
  • 2nd obj good push through
  • fun op was told to go cyclic
  • medics did real well, bravo

Cons
  • chaos, had FF multiple times
  • saw single team elements moving in to assault
  • waited really long outside of 2nd obj
  • between obj felt too much downtime, ( for some, this is contrasted by majority saying the opposite)
  • what happened to don't blow up buildings recklessly (reference to the mortars hitting obj 2)
  • weird hesitation to hit 2nd obj although acknowledge the time it took to set up and break down mortars
  • too much FF. what the hell guys, why, can we not identify our own within 50 meters? sounds like the 2005 army calling for us to wear PT belts yeah?
  • some how, we blew up the radar tower, one of our key objectives, with 96 frag grenades thrown over the walls
