Pros
  • Smooth like laminar flow. MISFIT elements were awesome. ATLAS elements were awesome. BUFFALO flight were awesome. Mission maker and 6 were awesome. From the outside, INFIDEL, HOG and LIGHTNING were awesome. This is the pinnacle for me!
    • Excellent Comms
    • Excellent Initiative
    • Incredible competence displayed by all
  • At least two Zeuses is the way to go.
  • No technical issues (ACRE / Server) and decent framerates.
Cons
  • Little bit better rear security from infantry.
  • I almost blue-on-blue'd an individual in Misfit-1 in react to contact.

Element Callsign: Atlas 1
Element Leader: CPL.Velasquez.J

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
Expandable Joe

Pro:
  1. Good communication between Misfit 7 and Atas1.
  2. Good team cohesion.
  3. No black causalities.
  4. Quick medical responses.
  5. Troopers were doing basic medical before Atlas arrived.
Con:
  1. A slow start after landing on the first AO.
  2. There were a few enemies inside homes at the last objective.
  3. Low turnout for Atlas.
  4. Confusion on the start of what helicopter to take, to the AO. Team to be attached to.
  5. Medical permission was a bug for one person. The issue got resolved quickly after one called Misfit 7, to Zeus.

  • USAF Mod AIM-9Xs were not locking onto targets (Reported by all FW assets).

Pros
  • Great Teamwork
  • Enjoyed the MOUT and CQB portions of the OP greatly.
  • No black or red tags.
  • Great Op Ord. Very clear picture of the situation and the commander's intent.
  • Switch by 6 of Misfit 1 and 2 on second objective was awesome. Please do this more.
  • Enjoyed escorting leadership through a warzone with that personal, 5-star touch.
  • Personal ownership by all the leaders of pushing pace and involvement was a big pro. More, more, more.
Cons
  • Little bit of a miskey on react to IDF. Normal doctrine would have us react but got a call from 6, prompted by Zeus intervention, that the IDF was not a threat. Really broke the immersion for a minute.
  • Could have done without the defense objective. 2's positioning was sub optimal which led to very little contact. Didn't really feel like an objective.
  • Platoon comms were a little messy. Lot of radio clicks with no audio. Quite a few instances of folks being stepped on.
  • Player turnout.

Pros
  • The initial defense was handled exactly as planned! The positioning was very effective, and we handled the incoming force quickly!
  • Post-objective reconsolidation is a huge pro for me! More realism and involvement from all support assets!
  • Excellent teamwork with Godfather (and Infidel) to ensure infantry had work to do!
  • Aviation was amazing tonight! Fixed wing and rotary blew it out of the water and exemplified their performance in their roles.
  • Assault on Paros was handled excellently! CQB seemed excellent, SPOTREPs were great, lanes were respected, and CAS was effective in close proximity to friendlies!
  • BLUFOR drones were utilized effectively! We had a nearly endless supply of ISR, despite air assets being frequently tasked with jobs away from the immediate overhead (deep SEAD, QRF CSAR, etc.)
Cons
  • We had all Platoon HQ insert on the same bird. This is sub-optimal for obvious reasons.
  • The staged departure that was initially planned ended up not happening. This worked out in the end but could have been improved on.
  • Exfil LZ was pushed into enemy territory, which was a bit immersion diminishing. However, this quick establishment allowed us to exfil to base for endex, which is always something to strive for!
  • Some apparent ACRE issues. Some messages slipped through the cracks, and listening to MISFIT-4's feedback, a lot of SPOTREPs and requests went unanswered. We rocked through it, but this would have contributed to and even better OP (in hindsight).

Pro:
  • Really outstanding operation. Excellent mission design. Top-shelf work guys.
  • OPORD/planning/briefings were really good. Very detailed and well articulated by mission maker and MISFIT-6. We should have comprehensive briefings like this every time.
  • Lots of stick time. Lots of thoughtful and clear tasking- great job MISFIT-5.
  • Several unfortunate but excellent opportunities to CSAR downed pilots. These CSARs were expertly handled and expeditiously achieved.
  • Great overall comms and ship to ship coordination.
  • Solid leadership from BUFFALO-1 Flight Lead Sparrow.P
  • Nice to play on Altis once in a while.
  • Formation flying was fantastic.
  • Extract at ENDEX was fantastic and as I always say, this is something we should ALWAYS do... at least 90% of the time.
Con:
  • [omitting this initial con because I was advised that Villmarson's teleport was due to ARMA glitch, which is fair.]
  • Would have been nice to see a better Alpha Rotary turnout.
