A Southside Update

When my dad was still alive he used to say, "Getting older isn't for sissies." Boy, was he more than just right on that one.

In a couple of weeks, I'm turning 55. My brain surgeons said when I was 8 years old in 1976, that I would not live to be 30. Wow! 55 seems like a lot older than 30.

I have officially been out of the hospital for 6 months now, thank goodness. Things are going well.

I have officially stopped driving as I was having trouble swerving on the road and didn't want to injure myself or someone else. Been dealing with a lot of new health issues. My new kidney got infected really good and I have been treated for that. I'm having to use a cane to walk around these days for support with my legs getting worse.

I stay pretty busy helping my 80 year old mother with cooking and cleaning of her home. Taking care of family is part of the deal, you know.

Anyway, I certainly hope you are all doing well. I miss this place like crazy, but can't play FPS games anymore with my hands shaking like crazy.
