Pros:
  • Fun mission, Operation was hectic at moments, lots of contact for all elements.
  • Squads were flexible with a constantly changing plan, attempted to keep it with the initial plan based off of map reconnaissance and supposed enemy locations.
  • Good teamwork throughout the platoon, support elements and air assets. Good integration of fires from air, direct and indirect fires.
  • Captured enemy aircraft and 2 x pilots on the airfield.
  • Managed to work some mortar usage into the operation.
Cons:
  • More black tags than I would of like to have seen.
  • lost one vehicle to a mine, another 2 to enemy fire.

  • Good communications from all Bandit elements
  • Atlas teams worked well between squads and mass cas

Con:
  • Went uncon during the last part of the operation for mysterious reasons, was passing in and out from unknown reasons
  • Took several black tags throughout the operation

Pros:
  • Great communication within the squad.
  • Most of my squad had fun.
  • Contact was nice and thick.
Cons:
  • Suffered 3 Black tags total.
  • Suffered 1 HUMVEE destroyed.
  • Russians practically absorbed entire magazines before they actually went down.
  • Other squads didn't exactly follow the plan given by 6. Particularly on the push to KT-6 when Bandit-1 decided to not follow their lane and push north of Bandit-2, leaving a very large gap between us and Bandit-4, causing Bandit-2 to get 2 black tags from contact coming from multiple directions.

Pro:
  • We had a lot of running as Atlas-3
  • Got to do a lot of repairs and basic medical

Con:
  • Issue with vehicles where if someone died in the gunner seat the gun would be inoperable
  • Issue where if the gun goes down on a vehicle we couldn't repair it unless something else on the car was damaged

Pro:
Squad Leaders allowed Atlas to preform debridement at fracture surgery actions which was really nice to be allowed to by the SL's.
Saw a wide range on injures from the basic injures to full fledged fatal injures with multiple fractures.
Seeing more and more 6 lines which is really good to see which adds some good info and process to our operations as medics be nice to see MIST reports added in future.
Platoon moved to support Atlas in contact
Couple Mass Cass events
Atlas 1 had good comms between us
Always good to see non billet atlas taking a go at medical
Self first aid was 50/50
No reports of black tags under medical care

Con:
Some troops leaving or squad leaders not always confirming of full treatment before leaving.
Arsenal did not have all medical kit at start.
6 ran over a medic lol.
Would of been nice to see more of billeted atlas but was still hugely effective.
Seems to be a repeating issue with single squads moving before the rest of the platoon moves and in result means large gaps in the platoon line.

Pros:
  • Good mission
  • good Campaign
  • Good inter-squad team work
  • Good fire team work

Cons:
  • CAS AT from infantry on plane in hanger way to close to friendlies
  • Had a Mass CAS in doorway of a building at the end obj
  • Building clear also caused issues with the door way, we didn't pie, and we two door rushed
  • Trooper had issue with lag
  • Because of lag a humv thought it was ET go home, should a got Zues heals and fix
  • messy contact
  • 90% of op was mounted may be cause of bored for troopers
  • shot a POW ejected pilot
  • immersion breaking dysnc
  • some missing gear, earplugs and splints
  • Bravo Succession of command after TL death was poor
  • Bravo stayed with vic and didn't pull back despite break contact called by 2 members
  • lacking security while rearming
  • lost a car
  • I didn't go to the the map pos, and made a choice based off of terrain in front of me not map
  • Bad Comms, stepping on comms, coulding get important information out when it was necessary (mind you my C-Tab is broke)
  • the ridge line fire fight was too prolonged, caused mass CAS

Specialist William "Scooter" Sutodoreh (HOG-1)
Private First Class Jeran Berg (EAGLE-1)

Pro:
  • Lots of action
  • Great mission AND great campaign -- one of the most fun series of ops I've ever taken part in in the Cav
  • Mission Controller didn't pull punches when it came to spawning anti-air and red air, we were constantly having to go defensive which kept things interesting
  • Mission Controller and Mission OIC both did great jobs
  • Good comms with INFIDEL -- provided concise targeting when needed, and left us alone when we were engaged
  • Good comms between both aircraft. At multiple points, one aircraft would lase or call out grids for targets that that aircraft wasn't equipped to hit
  • Great role-separation between EAGLE and HOG -- each aircraft mostly had their own role to play and performed well
  • Very good kill list for the flight, which reflects both pilot performance but also importantly a well-designed mission.
  • HARMs and GPS bombs, which we have recently trained on, both worked almost flawlessly.

Con:
  • Friendly fire incident on ground -- didn't involve EAGLE or HOG, but watched from the air and always sad to see blue on blue in one-life ops especially
  • EAGLE ejected once and HOG crash landed engine off but because no rotary assets, CSAR was just a Zeus teleport. Nothing the MC could have done differently but it's still a bit of a shame, maybe in future can send an AI helicopter to conduct the CSAR although only if the MC isn't busy doing other things which they often will be
  • Some technical difficulties involving Eagle -- partly mod-related, for example when most aircraft are damaged the pilot can eject whereas in the Hornet mod it seems that any damage almost always locks the pilot in the cockpit to die on impact. No real fix for this, just want to note it as a con.

  • Medical callouts by SL were clear and detailed
