Pros:
Great Attendance
love a WW2 op
Would like to see some Shermans

Cons:
Would like us to have a ping limit. Was also told something about limiting packet loss with players as well so something to look into.
It's not a good look when senior members say its Arma's fault when there are other milsim servers running 110 players for 5-8 hours on end. We should not risk player experience just to be able to allow anyone to join the server even if it risks killing the server.

With the Rep we have with large OP crashing with should never be running 60+ aimed ops if we can't run 60 stable with out a crash

Pros:
Great Attendance

Amazing SLs with positive attitudes
Great RTO that managed the situation well

Cons:
Glad to avoid crashing of server, but several "red lights" were frustrating
Lots of movement orders due to lack of consistent intel; caught the platoon out of position several times

Pros:
  • Enjoyment overshadowed the cons during server issues and overall.
  • Communication limitations added a layer of difficulty and immersion to the operation.
  • Pre-organized equipment aided in ease of deployment.
  • Good improvisation to counteract recognized issues and overcome difficulties
  • Good utilization of fire missions
Cons:
  • Poor PID
  • Issues with utilizing supplied equipment
  • Communication limitations (including missing radio slots) bottlenecked interactions between elements and led to a realistic but chaotic execution of consistently evolving plans.

Pros:
  • Successfully engaged and destroyed armor assaulting position
  • Good squad communication, great stories
  • Squad flexible and adaptable to orders
  • Atmospheric
  • Simple and effective battle plan to execute.
Cons
  • Equipment loadouts for medics and autoriflemen need tuning. Medics need more equipment outside of the time period in order to effectively treat mass cas. and maintain squads. ARs need a specific weapon variant that has the tripod mount in order to maintain any stability after 3rd shot.
  • Squad leaders need to be flexible in their orders. Had a few SLs panic and break down when they wandered onto our location and didn't know where to setup security.
  • Always at rear guard, swapping assault elements and support elements are crucial to maintaining engagement for all players.
Note, none of my squad were able to participate in the jump as we spawned on the ground; overflow squad.

Pros:
  • Time Period
    • Love WWII
    • Perhaps doing this period more often outside of these operations?
  • In-Squad Communication
    • Squad cohesion was solid throughout
    • Effective movement when needed
  • So Many People
    • Tons of new faces from the public
  • Mission Accomplished

Cons:
  • Lower-Side Action
    • Occasionally lulls in contact were quite long
  • Early Endex
    • Server couldn't make it the rest of the way to OP completion

Pros:
  • Loved the idea of the OP
  • That airborne drop was beautiful
  • because the whole squad carried 1919 ammo, we kept the gun running the entire op
  • Troopers performed fantastically
  • The amount of people in the op was good
  • No radioman, more realistic, and loved the chaos

Cons:

  • Server issues caused troopers to not have as much fun
  • Once the platoon got to the bridge the plan fell apart and we continued to do the plan
  • I failed to get ACE reports from my squad which lead to issues for my medic to do proper triage
  • No radioman, Plt couldn't talk to us
  • Some troopers had issues with the night and its darkness
  • Unable to properly resupply, however this was mostly impart to the endex called
  • A lot of questionable movements made by higher moving squads around
  • Because of these movement orders being not condusive to our situation I denied a order but my squad was out of position and got hit by enemy fire
  • I pushed my squad across a bridge that was uncontested and had a mortar firing upon us, when i got across the bridge myself and troopers were yelled at to go back across the bridge where we sat and got mass cass by that mortar. only for us to re take the bridge because I once again denied the order to wait(while under active IDF), once we took the bridge we destroyed the mortar.
SL Remarks:
Tactics wise, we have to let go of the idea of sticking to the plan 100%, the plan is never going to go perfectly. when you need to take a river and bridge that is contested it is important to control both sides of the bridge simultaneously, or risk the defenders blowing up the end of the bridge.

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element: Corporal Norman.B #

Pros:
(1) Fantastic OP
(2) Squad level medics performed exceptionally
(3) First Lieutenant Stewart.B's leadership was exceptional

Cons:
(1) Platoon medic is primarily a triage role, so without any way to communicate with medics it made most of the role superfluous. While the SLs did have the ability to communicate on the radio, I need to communicate with the medics directly to be a effective in the role.
(2) Server red lights and ultimate crash . I agree with
Sergeant Maco.D that if high pings are causing some of the server issues (as Major General Jarvis.A indicated) then we should kick people with high pings. This happens in the servers of any other game (e.g. Hell Let Loose) and hopefully would avert the major disappointment of a premature endex. These crashes really hurt the fun of our current members and certainly do not help recruitment.
(3) Friendly fire was a huge issue with one of our squads being wiped by a squad from Baker-1.

Pros:
  • Good utilization of challenge phrase during initial landing and regrouping
  • Excellent communication with our squad
  • Good attendance
  • WW2 ops are always appreciated and I'd like to see more
Cons
  • Lack of contact.
  • Squad was mobilized often and always arriving too late for the party
  • No prep time for squad organization and relaying of orders from brief before jump

Pros:
Great Attendance

SLs did fantastic moving troopers and keeping their respected units together
RTO were great, communicating and keeping everyone on the same page

Cons:
Post jump was a bit too chaotic in my opinion, I know not everyone there was Charlie but I expect the same quality from everyone. There is a hell jumper in us all.
Not enough RTOs and Medics
