Pros:
- Mission accomplished! Successfully defended the firebase against an overwhelming enemy force for ~2 hours.
- Really enjoyed the defense mission and the consistent enemy mortars (especially at the beginning)
- Atlas/medics did a great job setting up a CCP and treating casualties; Golf squads also did a great job CASEVAC'ing casualties to the CCP
- Resupply was scarce and leaders did a great job managing limited supplies as best they could to keep up the defense
- Squad compositions were too big at 12 troopers. For gameplay/logistical reasons, our traditional 9 man squads would be better because we do not have the numbers to support a 50+ man platoon for a private op. 3 squads of ~9 would have been better than 2 squads of 12, etc.
- Medics (platoon medic + Atlas) were missing a lot of gear/permissions at mission start
- Not enough guns/troopers to cover the entire firebase
- Communication with Golf squads could have been better with more contact/SITREP/ACE reports - calls of troops in contact was especially lacking from some squads
- Lack of qualified rotary pilots/crew led to issues with a vital resupply/re-insert/CAS missions under fire which led to problems (and those that volunteered to take up this role did the best they could)
- Some troopers went outside the wire and/or went by themselves to lone wolf against the enemy and did not follow orders from their SL's/command
