Pros:
Communication from intrasquad levels was reported to be good throughout the operations, each unit expressed.
They had fun.

Cons:
  • Working together as a unified clan was disorganized, communication lacking when needed and excessive chatter when not.
  • Lack of supplies on the field.
  • Slow to start, possible lacking execution plan
  • Didn't appear that command strategy or perhaps squads execution of command strategy was effective.
  • Squads kept moving directly to the point or didn't flank far enough around.
  • Tanks were not able to move up because the suppression of the enemy was so intense that they could not be accompanied by infantry
causing them to be flanked and hit by AT or AT Guns. They then held back which didn't allow the infantry to move up.
  • Artillery usage was not effective.

Suggestion: We need to re-evaluate how we are going to change our strategy when things start to go bad. We also need to look into employing some of the tactics that the opposing teams use on us.
They used a sector designated area of operation. This allowed them to suppress several sectors parallel to the point in which they employed machine gunners to just spray down an entire sector causing a halt on progression by us. They utilized armor more like a mobile machine gun using only one person. Our armor was being assaulted by AT or AT Guns the entire game. We need to use spotters more effectively to call out garrisons and op's to artillery strike when we are unable to get to them.

Pros:
Great communication within squad, had fun.
Cons:
The overall plan fell apart at first contact with enemy. No defensive squads. Direct attacks failed, seemed we lacked a coherent flanking strategy. Few, if any, fortifications were built on defensive points, likely due to lack of supply trucks.

Pros:
  • Communications in Command chat were clear for the most part
  • Troopers had fun
  • Lots of mistakes and feedback to learn from
  • Good attendance
  • Armor hull downs using natural environment
  • Good initial defense in the 2nd game
Cons:
  • Main command plan and strategy was mistaken and had major flaws. Should be revised for future fights as it demonstrated faults and is ineffective against such organized opponents
  • Lots of last minute sign ups (can't do much about it but logistically was hard for S3)
  • Outmaneuvered by the enemy
  • Lack of supplies and nodes
  • Weak defenses as we were baited twice out of a defensive objective
  • Lost garrisons easily to rear enemy units
  • Unawareness to enemy airheads
  • Lonely armor away from main point or not supporting main attack made easy targets to pick at or made us lose firepower
  • The enemy had control of our flanks relatively quickly
  • Slow to start in first game

Pros:
  • Communications between Command was clear
  • Enjoyable OP
Cons:
  • Enemy OPs and Garry's were very heavily guarded which made it near impossible to take them down
  • Kept on losing our Garry's very quickly
  • The main battleplan was clear to begin with but fell through quickly once the OP started

Pros:
  • Squad was highly effective in holding southern flank against a superior force. In both cases only retreating when tactical conditions required a new position
  • Op format is fun
  • Valuable lessons were learned both from the experience and from the video documentation
Cons:
  • Two minute organization phase was confusing and unhelpful IMHO (best dropped but longer needed otherwise)
  • Lack of defense garrisons and garrisons in general
  • Lack of nodes
  • Unable to exploit local numerical superiority leaving us vulnerable to flanking forces
  • Enemy map control in second match left us vulnerable to enfilade MG fire while attacking
  • Last minute signups cause headaches for S3 and hurt battle readiness
  • Critical roles such as Logi and Arti unfilled

Pros:
  • Squad worked extremely well in well-dug in positions during beginning of game, held ground well and spotted out incoming enemy forces for command
  • Squad members communicated to the best of their abilities within the company, giving up-to-date reports on enemy movements throughout match
  • OP was run well and in an enjoyable environment for the players
Cons:
  • If possible, have E-4 ranks and below handle the General Brief and Roll-Call ahead of time if necessary
  • Sign-Ups coming in during the brief 30-minutes prior causing issues for general organization
  • Allow Commander and SLs to join another channel during the "General Brief" to get an extended and more in-depth plan to relay back to squads
  • Lack of nodes
  • Flanks not in direct communication with main assaults-squad, leaving inopportune timing for offenses
  • ARTILLARY heavily under-utilized. Please note 2/18 7:30EST SP for B/1/A/2-7 will provide more experience with this

Pros:
Good Communication from Sqd leaders basic flexibility and Leadership
Good Armor Movements and pairing techniques both static firing and on the move.

Good flexible 2 man tank squad taking care of Arty for the scar push and retaking.
Good timing on the node setup and placements.

Cons:
More Preparation Needed from all waiting and wanting to be SL/Tc or even Cmd, ex. a week before the event run a dry match so everybody knows and prepare for the Ops in advanced.
I got mixed on the movements and Cmd utilities that's my bad, will focus more in the next op

Need more unification in forces, tanks don't need to go back to hq when we can keep them at the front line with field depot to repair
Need more utilization of the Bunkers and all other engineers accs, for better defenses.(Scar)
Recording in Both parties should know the briefing so they can know what to expect without questioning themselves in the Recordings.
