Pros:
Lots of good comms in squad
Great reaction to contact and defensive orders by squads

Cons:
Command comms was a bit weak think we could have better direction and really hone in on those FTLs to SLs coordination
Defending from point is everything, always something we could be better

Pros:
  • 2nd PL did great. Very pleased with how easily they grasped the OPORD and how they flexed on objectives.
  • Good turnout and seemingly mostly positive experience for most attendees.
  • Crushed our initial objectives exactly acording to plan.

Cons:

  • Advanced coms system not fully diseminated across the AO. It was implemented by 2nd but not by 1st. Confusing and frusterating for some as a result. My mistake for not including it in the OPORDs.
  • Initial objectives for 2nd Platoon were too easy. Axis did not have the resources to mount any kind of defense on arti or for the commander.
  • After our initial objectives we were constrained to straight infantry combat because phase lines made us unable to flank.
  • Some confusion on ROE.
