Pros
- Mission was well designed and laid out.
- Waypoints and flight planning worked well.
- Good use of real-world imagery in the briefing added to immersion.
- Mission audio was a nice addition.
- Good pacing; flights stayed busy and had plenty to engage.
- Strong overall execution of assigned objectives.
- Good coordination and timing between different aircraft, particularly with the C-130.
- CAP was generally effective, with good flying from the F-14s and Hornets.
- Strong inter-flight communications and teamwork.
- Good crew coordination between pilots and RIOs.
- Flights generally stayed cohesive.
- Target-rich environment kept the mission engaging.
- MIST and artillery integration worked well and provided useful training opportunities.
- Mission complexity was appropriate and generally well received.
- Several first-time participants had a good experience, including first-time flight leadership.
Cons
- Red air became excessive toward the end of the mission.
- Red air was occasionally able to penetrate the CAP line.
- Commit ranges need work; Fox-3s were sometimes employed far too close.
- Racetrack patterns need to be used more consistently.
- Hornets need better target sorting and allocation.
- Excessive AIM-120 expenditure against individual targets.
- Tanker usage needs improvement.
- One flight went to the wrong tanker.
- Tanker speed contributed to unnecessary fuel consumption.
- Aircraft were lost or threatened around the tanker.
- Some aircraft may have been operating too close to friendly rotary-wing traffic.
- Communications plan was missing from the kneeboard.
- Fuel management could be improved.
