We'd like to end 2021 by making a big push together as a Battalion on our TacR Public Server in December, so please join us for TacR December! We also hope to give our hard working Section Leaders and other staff a break for most of December leading up to Furlough by providing other official events that will count for SP instead for those weeks. As a result, we've got some orders to share in advance for December only:

• Starting in December, every Section Practice (SP) conducted in December (up until Furlough on 18DEC21), needs to please be conducted on our Arma 3 Tactical Realism Public Server. No exceptions! We need to seed the public server as much as possible to increase recruitment, showcase the Cav, and have fun while doing it!
  • SL's can either just do a free SP and play the AO, or they can focus on a topic and conduct a regular SP, just on TacR. We'll leave it up to the SL's/Platoons/Companies to decide what they do for SP while on TacR. Please consult your CoC for guidance.
  • As part of this, SL's need to make sure they've paased their Steam ID up their CoC to get Zeus access on TacR if they haven't already so they can help facilitate SP's there for their Section. Platoon Staff+ should also do the same if they haven't already. Everyone's got ~2-3 weeks notice to get this done (if they haven't already). On Sunday, when TacR will be crowded (mostly Bravo Troop), please just share Zeus and make it work as best you can.
  • Realistically, this will probably only happen the week ending 10DEC21, because we have other plans for the following weeks...
• The week ending 17DEC21 there will be a 24 hour Public Operation on TacR hosted by S3 and we will...

The MPD has an opening for the role of Officer in Charge (1IC).

This position/role is ideally targeted to mid-senior members of the Officer group ( CPT+ ) however any outstanding candidates will be considered.

This leader role has multiple responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Determining MP staffing levels
• Recruitment and training of new MPD members
• Maintenance of training materials for server administration
• Routine conduct of training for qualified members before obtaining server/game admin rights
• Oversight of admin activity, identifying issues, and notifying the appropriate party of abuse/misuse where it may occur.

N.B. - When I say any outstanding candidate will be considered, I mean that. If you are a Sergeant and can both articulate and demonstrate how you are the most impactful selection for the role, well then the 1IC will be a Sergeant.

N.B.(2). In that event, you may be required to both take, and pass within 6 months an officer development course with a high score.
