Briefing
Gogland, is a small isolated island in the Gulf of Finland. It is officially Russian territory but sits uncomfortably close to NATO air and maritime lanes, making it a constant point of tension. To prevent escalation, five years ago NATO and Russia signed a Non-Aggresion Pact that no party shall deploy, construct, store, or transport any military personnel, equipment, or weapons systems on Gogland Island or within 12 nautical miles of its territorial waters. A few days ago, NATO received an encrypted message from a mole embedded in a Russian logistics team that Gogland has been militarized, ballistic missile components have been delivered and a missile silo has been constructed on the island. NATO demanded cessation of all action on Gogland immediately. Russia did not respond. Bandit Platoon prepares for action.
