The DCS Initial Training Wing is proud to announce that we will be conducting The Basic Carrier Qualification Course for up to 8 highly motivated individuals. This course is designed to provide you with the concepts of Naval Aviation. This class will not be in-game, as this is a strictly theory-based course it will be held in 7th Cav Discord Classroom(s) with a Personnel Qualifications Sheet (PQS) to fill out, due NLT 90 "Cav" working days after course completion, 30APR2026 @ 2359z.

Troopers Will Learn

• The Proper Verbiage of Air Communication with "Mother"
• CVN Familiarization
• CASE I-III Takeoff and Landing Procedures
• Zip-Lip Communications
• Marshall Stack Procedures
• LSO Guidance
• Case I VFR Patterns
• TACAN/ILS/ACL

Student Prerequisites

• No active negative action
• Pen and paper
• Owner of naval aircraft module in DCS
• Ground School Eval Complete

Notes

• Minimum of 2 students
• Maximum of 8 students
• A/ACD troopers given priority slotting
