The S7 Department is proud to announce we will be conducting the NCOA Phase I course on 03AUG25 for up to 15 highly motivated individuals. Please see below how to apply. If the number of applicants exceeds 15, then applicants will be accepted on a case-by-case basis.

Course Description

NCOA Phase I is the first leadership course non-commissioned officers attend during their careers. It's designed to teach troopers, from Private First Class and Specialists, the fundamentals of leading small groups of troopers. The course is approximately 2 hours long. The course teaches students the roles and responsibilities of leaders in the 7th Cavalry Regiment. Access to the forums is required during class.

Student Prerequisites

Minimum time in service of 45 days
Minimum Rank Specialist, or Private First Class if you hold a SL/ASL billet
No negative action or restrictions within the last 3 months (pending or on record)
Motivation to help advance the 7th Cavalry as a leader and NCO
