Welcome to the first installation of Training Gone Wrong.
This will be an ongoing series of missions where pilots will be assigned tasks of varying difficulties.
Operation Phoenix I, our first mission will be centered around the use of Fox-2 Missiles.
Fixed Wing Pilots - You will be tasked with employing AIM-9Xs to engage and destroy all incoming bandits.
Rotary Wing Pilots - You will be tasked with engaging enemy helicopters who are moving to deploy ground forces with the hope of turning the tides of war.
Over the course of the mission, pilots will be locked in an enduring battle against the enemy, nature, and yourselves.
In preparation for the mission, it is recommended that you familiarize yourself with the following weapon system(s): AIM-9M / AIM-9X
Please note - the Pre-Mission Briefing will start at 2300z - (7PM EST).
This will allow for instructors / S3 to guide newcomers on the use of these munitions, if you have any questions, or require guidance, make sure to attend this pre-briefing.
