SITUATION:
Somalia has flared up into another civil war. A coup is currently underway by a mechanized brigade of the Somali National Army - who is opposed to current political choices that have been made by the Somali Army and President.
The "Somali Veteran Movement" (SVM) has started a genocide campaign in a large swathe of territory in the Niakala district, killing those who oppose their movement en masse while seizing control of all agriculture in the region as well as the river running through it in an effort to control food production in the region and use hunger as a tool for power.
1st Squadron, 7th Cavalry Regiment - already on a training rotation in the region - has been activated as a crisis response force to evacuate American Personnel and casualties at two major field hospital centers that have been set up by IDAP before they get overrun.
MISSION:
B/1-7 is to conduct CASEVAC of two major field hospital sites ran by IDAP. The casualties are to be triaged on site and evacuated by air or ground depending on priority to a BAS ran by Atlas, then they will be brought back to the airfield to be loaded on to transport aircraft to be taken out of country.

AVIATION NOTE: The main airbase is NOT available for rearm, only for repair and refuel. It will be very busy as GREENFOR is primarily operating out of there with combat sorties.
AFSOC has set up a FARP that rotary will spawn at that can handle rearm, however they can only offer it via a resupply from a pair of CH-47s that they will call in.
