Briefing
Following the successful operation "Valiant Hawk", the 1st Battalion managed to seize El Barzal military base, which was used as a FOB for a Combat Service Support unit and conducted a raid on a relay station. They also managed to extract a couple of colombian military personnel held prisoner and some high-ranking politicians. These decisive actions effectively disrupted the Chazilians' command and control capabilities and severed the vital logistics support that their mechanized battalion relied on to sustain their engagement with our 2nd Battalion. This forced them to shift over to defensive operations until they could re-establish their C&C, logistics, and reinforcements that they desperately need.
The Chazilian Combined Infantry Battalion, which is in the 2nd Battalion lane, still poses a significant threat and can if not enveloped by 1st and 3rd still create a wedge between us and the rest of our friendly forces. Our 2nd Battalion, after enduring prolonged and costly battles, is still conducting defensive operations whilst consolidating with freshly deployed units that arrived a couple of days ago. They still risk being forced back into the sea, and in order to prevent this dire outcome, adjacent friendly forces are to continue to provide assistance by trying to envelop the enemy frontline units. Assigned to this critical mission are the 1st Battalion Charlie Company and the 3rd Battalion.
