After a swift Air Assault and a strong defense, the 7th Cavalry managed to Seize the Beketov Airbase, halt the Russian Counter-Offensive, and cut them off from their support and supply units. This made the remaining soldiers in the Russian mechanized company that was currently on the frontline surrender after suffering a crushing defeat with substantial losses of both personnel and equipment.
European Command and Intelligence have gathered information indicating that the General of the 138th Brigade does not want to fall back after rumors that the Kremlin wants to replace and send him to a labor camp. The GRU officers that were captured during OP Hokki also say the General has cut all communications to the rest of the Russian Western Military District and has ordered all forces in the region to dig in and halt the 7th Cavalry's advance at all costs.
