Pros:
  • Everyone had fun. Enjoyed the concept of the op
  • Good mix of working as full platoon, pair of squads and on our lonesome. Had attachments for second OBJ
  • Squad worked well together. Good internal comms. FTLs were on top of it
  • Buffalo flights were well coordinated. Got us where we needed to be, smooth pick ups

Cons:
  • First landing was rough, caused 5 yellow tags and 1 black tag
  • Second bullet to make help even it out
  • Slight miscommunication which led to a clunk(ish) shift fire with 4

Pros:
  • Outstanding OP concept and execution. Kudos to P6 for the long leash on the SL's: Give me more! Just put an X on the map...tell me kinda what is there, tell me who is supporting me...and I'll figure it out!
  • Squad level communication and execution was superlative! We were able to perform in-op FTL training for a Public player (BZ CPL Zaren for the assist), 0 squad injuries on all 3 OBJs tonight.
  • Platoon comms were humming! Great to hear the SL's fighting the fight and coordinating.
  • FULL PLATOON!!! Excellent turnout

Cons:
  • Contact felt light, but mostly because we had at least 3x M240 teams over our shoulder all night.
  • Not an actual con...but a suggestion: I would like to have had more subsequent raids...no need to RTB...just give each Section a series of OBJs and let them work it out.

Pros:
  • Great concept of operations from S3, troopers had a lot of fun tonight.
  • Both fireteams worked well together, integration of supporting elements in the squad was adapted to well
  • All comms at all levels was fire tonight!
Cons:
  • Some delays loading into the birds tonight, and mis calls of "last man" due to last minute reassignment of supporting elements
  • Formations needed some work, and we had some discussion on additional training (BIT) availabilities in the future
  • SL's when involuntarily removed from a helicopter, cannot fly. check your key binds!

Pros:
  • Ran both as a squad and as dispersed Gun team attachments to support squads hitting multiple targets at the same time.
  • Squad was quick and flexible in reactions, first two objectives were hastily planned off of 1's asking of support. Squad then quickly came up with a hasty plan ~ 30 seconds to plan and then brief.
  • Had dispersed positions on the second objective which lead to a wicked crossfire on the target area.
  • Squad was quick on buddy aid / self aid, only took 1 black tag.
  • Usage of fire commands / rates of fire/ shift - lift coordination on platoon.
  • Had to fight and clear our way into the SBF on the 1st two objectives. winning both the local fight and the bigger platoon /section fight.

Cons:
  • First landing off the designated DZ, squad quickly established a new hasty position and executed taskings in support of Pioneer -1
  • Felt like to 4 was an after thought in the planning process on the first and second objectives. If detached gun teams were the plan it should of been briefed that way so we could of been quicker on the split up.

  • Buddy-team level first aid could have been better

Element Callsign: Helios-1
Element Leader: Corporal Bolte.D
7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
Master Sergeant Mazinski.H
Private First Class Moore.P
Sergeant Flint.J

Pros:
  • Was able to split into two battle buddy teams to conduct raids attached to Pioneer elements
  • Fun idea and fun concept that we are exploring and getting into with this quick and fast TOT missions
  • Got to do a little bit of demolition and some resupply.

Cons:
  • LOTS of down time between raids. One part of the mission we could've conducted a Cross-Load style ACE and moved on to the next target.
  • AS far as mission priority and needs Helios didn't have really much to do besides the last 5 minutes at the end.
  • The way the AO's were built, if the idea was for Helios to be able to breach on target there wasn't much tasking for us to do to get into the AO's.
  • Lots of miscommunication when it came to the loading of the birds and who was where.
  • 1x Blue-on-Blue incident that was mainly my fault. I called crossing but didn't wait for acknowledgment from trooper to wave me across or give him ample time to respond as he started engaging enemy as I was crossing while he was doing his job on external security.
