I am interested in changing one of our servers back to a PvE scenario. Such as back to Anizay or Gotland mission files.

Is there anyone else interested in restarting a PvE server?

You have my vote.

PVE servers constantly generate public interest.

I've been asking for this for months. Switching over to PvP was the main reason I left the AO. The PvE experience allowed us to employ squad tactics putting our SPs to good use.

Because of great mods and a healthy DEV community, other successful MILSIM groups have very active PVE and PVP servers, our vanilla plus servers are a ghost towns right now. This is an important consideration in keeping healthy numbers in the CAV. Modded (not vanilla) active servers, promote active gameplay and this gameplay brings in new players. The CAV is currently experiencing a drop in players in the Arma Reforger AO. . . After doing some research it seems that many popular community servers are maintained by a healthy DEV staff that have a large number of volunteers. Bottom line, we need to train and grow a large DEV staff and we MUST be more competitive with our public servers in order to bring players in. A good PVE server, with a large variety of solid popular mods would bring a player base to us.... because at this point, all I am seeing is a consistent decline in our membership and it looks the same as our empty public servers.

I enjoyed the PvE server and played far more often than I do now that it has changed. I'm also not a fan of the vanilla style either. That said, I have seen the server numbers drop and I applaud that we tried something to get the numbers back up.

Do agree with bringing it back. Booted up the PvPvE server and immediately left after seeing the vanilla style. What made me interested in reforger was the PvE style

If the vanilla styles the issue how come we can just add our mods to the PvPVE game mode. It would drive folks in who like PVE and Folks who like PVP and people who want the mods.

The point of me asking people if they have any interest in having a PvE server again is because some of us don't enjoy the PvP aspect at all or at least only a limited amount of PvP. I'm not saying to get rid of pvpve. I am suggesting we use one of our 5 servers to host a pve mission file again.

Oh I see. Every time I have played on the PvPvE its been more PvE. I think it would be more beneficial to add our mod list on the sever than anything. Its give pub players a taste of what the Cav is. Plus its mods and systems we are very familiar with as well. I like the mix of PvP and PvE so I am happy with it. It does seem we loose folks with the vanilla style. Like Lethbridge-Stewart.J said.

Going off of experience of past having 1 mod free server and 1 modded server. Creating a active public community that can pop our servers when cav members are not around is important to get eyes on us in the arma community.
Personally I think a PVE server is the best go to overall
