Pros:
  • Attendance was superb
  • New communication system functions well
Cons:
  • Ceasefire was not obeyed
  • Flanks on Hugo's Farm were too far off the point to be effective
  • Squads should have been larger, many elements felt like they had very limited firepower
More to add

The assault on Hugo's Farm took too long, and Germans managed to hold the point until the designated time was up. Allies had too many squads on the far east flanks, and the west flank was left with very little support to attack the German's main defensive positions. My squad placed a garrison to assault the center of the position, which forced the Germans to adjust. During this adjustment, the West Flank and East Flank managed to break through. This is important to note, as adding a third angle of attack is what allowed us to break through. During further training exercises and scrimmages, 2nd battalion should remember to adjust strategies according to the situation.

Pros:
  • Good recon style maneuvers with a small AT squad
  • Was able to get deep in to enemy territory and destroy a locate a few garrisons.

Cons:
  • Had a small squad, a couple people didn't show.
  • Cease Fires could be worked on.

Pros:
  • Good communication ,love the FTX.

Cons:
  • Didn't like that almost every time we where defending the point, on the ceasefire part. We had a tank in front of us in the red zone, and didn't find it was fare.

Element Leader:
Sergeant Sean Marcus Garcia

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
Sergeant Sean Marcus Garcia
Specialist Nick Moon
Specialist Brandon Blade
Private Cory Kepner
Specialist James Riker (Discharged)

Pros:
  • Our fireteam worked well together especially within buddy teams
  • The comms system felt far superior to anything else that we have done in the past
  • Great job of taking superiority of our sectors and pushing forward to the primary and secondary objectives
  • Great immersion with working infantry with armor and applying what we learned together into this FTX.

Cons:
  • Cease fires need to be understood and followed by both sides
  • Offensive mode wasn't very ideal for our scenario
  • Our artillery specialist wished we had arty on our side.

Pros:

  • FTL comms concept still good
  • Good FTX in general, except for my con

Cons:

  • Attackers had nothing to defend, allowing them to go for all out attack. Even when successfully defending a point, we were still forced to fall back, therefore hurting morale, and why should we care about a successful defense anyway?

Pros
  • Our CoC lets us do what we needed to do, which was greatly appreciated by all of us. We had a lot of room to use iniaitve, it was great!
  • The action was fast, furious, and dangerous, and with so many people it felt like the waves of war were truly crashing around us.
  • Command Comms were blessedly silent, so things were able to get organized and get done
  • Our section had great communication
  • I want to give a special shout out to Lemon.D and Beat.S for possibly changing the tide of the battle over the middle point. Working together, they supressed and knocked down an enemy garrison stopping a potential spawn point before it could truly become a problem for us.
  • Tired Rhodes is Best Rhodes
Cons
  • None

Suggestions/Improvements
  • I would like to +1 the idea of allowing the attacking team to actively clear our remnant forces while the redeploy is going on, it would probably help speed things up.

Pros:
  • Squad got to do Airborne stuff to good effect.
  • Good turnout. We are getting to the point where we can almost fill a server on our own!
  • Despite some growing pains, Coms system is getting smoother every OP.

Cons:
  • Op design had some trouble spots
  • Offensive mode realities threw both sides off a bit IMHO
  • I have room to grow as an SL in the new system

Axis Tank Commander
Sergeant Sotelo.R
Axis Fireteam Leader 1
Corporal Smith.N
Axis Fireteam Leader 2
Specialist Zimm.L

Pros:

  • Excellent teamwork within my squad
  • Solid flank defense
  • Great Reaction times
  • Improved communication via comm setup
  • Great teamwork within tank/infantry
  • Outstanding repair work keeping the tank alive
  • Defensive structures were beautiful
Cons:
  • Interruption between rounds slowed either side potential momentum
  • Allowing the allied forces to line up right on the border would allow for immediate shots on target obj.
  • Left our backdoor open on the last round
  • Too many axis squads were too far away from the objective to successfully assist in the defense of points.
  • Too many requests to go back and forth to react. Felt all over the place.
  • No utilization of the defensive structures due to being too far away
