Element Callsign: HOG-1
Element Leader: Specialist Whitfield.L

Pros
-
  • Constantly lots of Things to shoot at, kept HOG busy every second
  • Destroyed over x25 Hinds & Hips with Guns
  • Destroyed loads of Armored QRF & ZSUs
  • Good Communication with INFIDEL & RAIDER via LR 12
  • No Loss of HOG or RAIDER Airframe after multiple punctures from ZSUs

Cons -
  • Constantly lots of Things to shoot at, forced most CFFs to be Type-3
  • Script continued to spawn QRF from the same location throughout the entire Operation, easy to hog on them
  • Frames dropped massively towards the end

Pros:
  • Good support from Mission Controller
  • Good crew that communicated and performed roles very well
  • Good communication and coordination with infantry on multiple occasions
  • Plenty of hard targets to engage and kill

Cons:
  • Sabre was destroyed once by enemy infantry in the town by an RPG behind us; closer coordination and support with infantry may have prevented it
  • Were unable to repair the gunner's scope/optics after it was damaged w/ ACE; couldn't figure it out (far as we know, we had repair perms)

Pros:
  • Fun op, target rich environment, challenging amount of QRF air and ground.
  • Good direct coordination with HOG
  • Solid INFIDEL comms.
  • Gunner kicked ass.

Cons:
  • Basic Flight Model made Raider difficult to fly as I've trained in AFM for over 3 years now. It's vital the AFM is implemented again with an option client side BFM as we've done in the past.
  • Attempts to repair/rearm didn't work on the ground, checked that I had a toolkit and adv. engineer perms but nothing worked. (Landing on the pads, going next to the two trucks.)
  • Even if the pads don't work, without repair vehicles if a aircraft does an emergency landing on the runway (as we did twice) without a way to repair via truck we are reliant on zeus.
  • Not sure if it's tied to BFM but couldn't zoom in the camera as a pilot, only my gunner could.
  • It would be good to have SABRE on CAS comm channels to coordinate targets aka air can then make sure they aren't stealing all their targets and know that SABRE will take care of it.

Pros:

  • Good communication and orders given and executed by squad.
  • All troopers thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
  • Brilliant squad cohesion.
  • Target rich environment kept all members switched on and engaged.
  • Good use of covering by each fireteam to bound towards enemy positions.
  • Squad responded to casualties well with a fast arrival and turnaround from ATLAS and 7.
  • Good coordination with other squads and assets to respond and maneuver towards enemy.
  • Positive feedback on mission file and that is is definitely heading in the right direction.
Cons:
  • Messy insert with heavy casualties taken. Loss of multiple airframes. Suggest air assets provide ISR and recon flights to better plan LZ's. This can be done while 15 min standard gear up and brief takes place.
  • Due to time constraints on each AO we had to endex early by 30min.
  • ACE medical may be slightly to easy now. Easily wake up from head wounds and heavy injuries.
  • CLS perms need addressing.
  • Still having inventory bugs with loadouts being wiped or backpacks being cleared. Mainly within the AR slot but has happened to other members.
  • Standard arma bugs with enemies shooting through bunker/barrack concrete walls. Maybe this could be switched to sandbags or barbed wire as bunker itself is enough cover for enemy.
  • Explanation of premise for the mission file. Loading screen or spawn text explaining what needs to be done to roll AO. Perhaps a banner at spawn explaining all relevant information etc.
