7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
Specialist Rowe.S

Pros:

• Enemy garrison placement was elite.
• Command comms were excellent.
• Persistence. Team stayed strong to cap the point.
• Recon Teams did well. Sniper/Spotter completed their duties. Multiple Nodes, Outposts, & Garrisons taken out.

Cons:

• Server Performance causing the other Recon Team to disconnect during the more important side of the event.
• AT Coordination needs improvement.
• Russian Team failing to follow the rules regarding tank numbers.

Element Callsign: Allied Easy Squad
Element Leader: Corporal Hermes.S
7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
Captain Macpherson.C
Master Sergeant Komar.T
Staff Sergeant Felton.J
Corporal Darko.M
Specialist Beckner.Z

Pros:
  • Squad had a great time
  • Impressive discipline from a squad allows you todo SO much and they killed it.
  • Literally Johnny on the spot the moment I asked
  • Strong Push - Helluva Cap/initial hold on Center
  • Great Movement towards and into the 4th point
  • Strong pressure to cap the 4th point
Cons:
  • The setup phase was disorganized and started late - dont be afraid to ask for help from vets
  • Judging by the Hotwash there was little to no prep from the Axis side, this being their FTX. That makes me sad bc strats and planning are a big part of my favorite things todo and I think it would've helped the opfor

Element Callsign: Axis Item Squad

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
First Sergeant Mueller.H
Corporal Wagner.D
Private First Class Manley.H
Private James.R
Private Ashford.M

Pros:

We had a lot of fun
Item Squad stayed on mission task, and there was no freelancing
Coms were active, clear, and concise
Tasked with defending the 4th point, we held it down for about 55 minutes, enduring wave after wave of allies attack

Cons:

Soviet Armor squads outnumbered the Germans
It took a little while to get started albeit a full 100 player FTX

Element Callsign: Axis tank 2 "Heresy's Voice"
Element Leader: Specialist Banfield.H
7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element
Corporal Rhodes.R
Specialist Fox.C

Pros:
Always fun to tank with E co.

We held a strong defensive posture for the entire game.

Cons:
Rule Enforcement: There were several instances of rule violations from allied elements that should have been identified and addressed earlier. Stronger oversight and quicker intervention.

SPA Placement: The lack of clearly defined SPA placement created challenges for the armored elements. This forced tank crews into unfavorable or unintended positions, reducing their ability to operate effectively.

Command comms: comms were inconsistent at times, which made coordination between elements more difficult. Improving clarity and reliability in command chat would help ensure smoother execution of the operation.

Last-Minute Placements: Several unit placements were finalized at the last minute. This limited the available time for leaders to develop and communicate a cohesive strategy prior to the start of the operation.

Operational Planning Time: Due to the late confirmation of placements, there was insufficient time for proper planning and coordination between elements.

Delayed Start: The event began approximately 15 minutes behind schedule, which appeared to be a direct result of the last-minute organization and placement adjustments

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
Corporal Thrawn.N
Corporal Williams.S

Pros:

It's always fun being with the guys!

Cons:

The operation was completely disorganized from Rally to Endex.
Communication was abysmal with me being flat out ignored at times on the net.
Lack of rule enforcement, Teams were breaking rules the entire game without MC stepping in.
Placements were done last second leaving no time to plan or prepare for the roles we were given.
Placements were very weird for tankers, with us being forced into roles like SL and SPA.
Team balancing was noticeably lopsided with significantly more newer players on one team vs another much more experience.

This has to be one of the most heartbreaking tanker hot washes I've heard.

Element Callsign: Axis SL...I wanna say Fox?

Element Leader: Lieutenant Colonel Mix.C

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
Private First Class Brown.LG
Sergeant Belmont.E
Specialist Austin.M
Specialist Stout.S

Pros:

  • My squad preformed very well, played hard in a tough game, and had outstanding morale for the entire match.
  • Great turnout!
  • 1LT Lucas had a great attitude despite being in quite a tough spot
  • Overall, coms were positive and focused on playing the game despite a pretty difficult experience for the Axis.
  • I think many important lessons will be learned out of this FTX.

Cons:

  • Organization was poor and resulting in a delayed start and poorly briefed teams
  • As it was an E co FTX, a greater ratio of more casual players from E co was to be expected. While it may have been useful to E co leadership to put all their guys together, the choice to put E co together on one team created a predictable unbalance as the attendees from outside E Co were by definition more active.
  • With 40+ members of E co devoted to playing armor, limited armor assets seems like an unfortunate choice.

Pros:
  • One of the most organized and concise command communication networks I've had the privilege of being involved in since I had began being SL for operations in the Cav. I could actually think for once and nobody was upset during the match. Calm, cool, collected. A welcome change of pace from the usual assault on my eardrums and something I hope remains habit for future operations!
  • It felt like almost everyone was on top of their game during this operation, not one area of the map was particularly lacking in troop placements thus stifling any forward push the Axis team could muster.
  • Defense from my squad was absolutely rock solid, we had a grand total of ZERO attack score at the conclusion of the match. They followed orders to a "T" and were very responsive to call-outs. Alongside this, they also worked proactively in stifling objectives I had not noticed and worked great together as squad mates. Very proud of my fireteam for this operation.

Cons:
  • Defense was incredibly boring. This was a big complaint from my squad and me as well, we came to play a game not sit around and shoot 2 guys every 4 minutes. Some mixing of squads back and forth from the frontlines to take on the burden of overwhelming boredom would've been nice. Partly my fault as well for not mentioning this so maybe in future operations we could potentially focus on a rotating mixture of squads to the backline. Maybe an attacking OP being burned would warrant a switch out could be something to look into.
  • To briefly touch on this again, an airborne unit within the Cav playing defense is a bit counterintuitive.
  • A lot of rules were being broken during this operation, makes sense why the game was so heavily one sided during the match.

Element Leader:
Sergeant Hellious.T
7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:
Sergeant First Class Wisniewski.A
Specialist Lewis.B
Corporal Mair.B
Specialist Frost.T

Pros:
• Squad leads took the reigns where necessary to get the starting nodes and garrisons down quickly.
• Command comms were clean and concise
• Squad members were Johnny on the Spots the entire match, excellent competencies.
• The whole of side jumped on armor anytime it was up to eliminate or drive it off
- The whole of side held hard to start and attacking squads coordinated offensive pushes and lane creation effectively afterward

Cons:

• Some issues with the rules-set for tank counts was not adhered - bit of a bummer
• Even though the match was pretty "vanilla" some adjustments could be made to split attackers and defenders up some by adding other objectives on the map. Stalingrad is a huge map so this could create adhoc mismatches on counts of troopers on one side or the other and could create interesting complex combats

Pros:
  • A big shoutout to everyone that I led tonight as the Platoon Leader. Every single trooper, either Armor or Infantry, did fantastic.
  • Communication was clear and precise and barely cluttered.
  • Tactics went off without a hitch.
  • The squad loved the operation.
Cons:
  • Tank support was a bit slow when on attack.
  • The Artillery and SPA was mayhem to deal with. Troopers all around the Soviet Union was involved in some kind of complaining about it. They must've done a great job!
