Pros
  • Great way to round out the year
  • Strong attendance from the platoon
  • Squads performed well, excellent execution of drills and movement
  • Squads were able to adapt, felt very fluid moving through the objective.
  • GMs were ontop of the teleports after some chutes didnt open.
  • Op was engaging and fun.

Cons
  • Chute didnt open
  • Think we need to test more for exact cadence to prevent collisions, unfortunately think the mod needs us to jump really spread out.
  • Ammo constraints due to no backpacks, but company handled this well providing us with resupply.
  • Bandit 4 was irradiated

Improves:
  • To much side conversation, casual chatting, during formations/flight. (Felt more like a Firefight Friday rather then an FTX in regards to banter, chat levels, chat topics, etc.)
  • Server load seemed to cause a lot of crashes tonight. Constant crashes created hiccups in knowledge/plan retention.
  • Company movement looked like a "Human Wave" most of the Operation vs a plan of movement.
  • Parachutes not opening for some troopers despite following instructions. (Mod Issues)
  • Gear restriction for this operation made the Weapons Squad way less effective. (Maybe have the 'plane' drop "Gear" with troopers so the weapons squad can arm up with a backpack, ammo, MAAWS Rounds, etc. on landing)
Sustains:
  • Great communication within the squad, platoon.
  • AIRBORNE! (It was a blast for the ones that the chute opened!)
  • Radiation Poisoning for Bandit 4.
  • Great brief, plan, idea behind the entire FTX.
  • All things considered every trooper had a fun time!

Pros
  • Fun Concept
  • Great comms all around
  • solid echoing of orders
  • no casualties other than a couple lawn darts
  • great cross-loading

Cons
  • had an issue where I couldn't reload and had to respawn
  • jumping out of the CH-47 mechanism was sketchy
  • felt like the movement from DZRP to APs was kind of sketchy and off plan
  • lack of backpack on chest makes cross-loading very difficult
  • ended up as more of an SBF squad - not a con per se, but wasn't the plan so the fire rates had to be controlled differently and the strategies to draw QRF into the open/closer distance was different; perhaps IHW squad would have excelled more in our two primary positions (overlooking the plant at the beginning, and holding the roof toward the crane QRF at the end)

Pros
  • Great communication between all squads on my platoon net
  • Everyone [who survived] made it to the DZRP after jumping
  • Squads were flexible and able to adapt to change of plans
Cons
  • Poor decision-making by me overall
  • Failed to properly brief my squad leaders before we rallied with Bandit for the jump
  • Failed to assign a 5 to assist me
  • Terrible platoon movement to the first OBJ coordinated by me
  • Map and compass were upside down when we arrived at the power plant

Pros
  • Great OP to finish off the year
  • Good communication between squads
  • Good communication with command
  • Good inter-squad communication
  • Parachute mod was actually okay for what it's worth
  • Building Clearing was really fun
  • BANDIT-1 POC WINNER LETS GO

Cons
  • Some people's parachutes didn't work so I got to watch people splat on the ground
  • Initial push on to the OBJ from the DZRP could've used some work. Seems like we pushed through an unnecessary ODA, which led to us being seen / engaged upon.

All around good OP, no real cons.

Pros:
  • Squad had good communication, worked well together in bounding movements and isolating rooms for CQB.
  • Excellent platoon coordination
  • Took 0 casualties in clearance of large powerplant building

Cons:
  • Had 2 casualties on insert due to lack of familiarity with parachute system
  • Company movement went too close to the objective which meant we never reached our ORP and had to scramble to get to our breaching point.
  • Most contacts moved outside of rooms during power plant clearance which led to taking most contacts walking down stairs or in the open and uneventful room clearances.

Pros
  • Great way to round out the year by getting back into what Charlie does.
  • Strong attendance from the platoon, which was good to see, and shows great promise for next year.
  • Squads performed well, with excellent execution of drills and movement throughout the FTX.
  • Squads adapted and moved through the objective very fluidly and with precision.
  • GMs were on top of the teleports after some chutes didn't open, allowing company movement to continue without being halted for longer than necessary.
  • Op was engaging and fun, and was very well thought out.
  • CQC was a wild time inside the nuclear plant.

Cons
  • Think we need to test more for exact cadence to prevent collisions, unfortunately think the mod needs us to jump really spread out.
  • Ammo constraints due to no backpacks, but the company handled this well by providing resupply.
  • Bandit 4 was irradiated
