Pros - Great communications throughout all fireteams and command. Aggressive and effective maneuvers on the battlefield led to Hellbender 1 taking down multiple enemy radios and waves of enemy infantry. Utilizing the Assault Spec that Mad Dogs are setting up we were able to split FT's and clear multiple areas swiftly and effectively. FT's were very tight and coordinated
Everyone had a lot of fun

Cons - No cons were observed in this OP

Pros
  • Operation was well received by all. The concentration of objectives along a segment of sectors was an intelligent decision, as it prevented the Operation's objectives from feeling disjointed. Pushes made by the Hellbender 2 Element were continuous, dynamic, and all encounters were carried out to great success, seamlessly connecting with the following encounter.
  • Significant number of opposing infantry kept the challenges faced from see-sawing between high actions-per-minute to low actions-per-minute; encounters were densely packed with opposing forces attacking from multiple angles, meaning there was a constant need to maintain alertness and combat readiness by all troopers.
  • Usage of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Faction was fun! Refreshing to experience weapons & vehicle systems outside of the standard NATO equipment set. Allows the AO to become more well-rounded for future Operations, so no equipment set will be alien or difficult to use.
  • Hellbender 2 Element was successful in disabling multiple radios. Special attention is to be drawn to Bravo Fireteam for their critical destruction of multiple Armored vehicles, including the killing blow on the Command vehicle that signaled ENDEX.
  • Multiple friendly Elements made usage of direct communications on Command Radio, which signals a positive development for the AO. Usage of direct communications cuts down on excessive/unnecessary radio communications; encourages coordination across multiple elements, rendering engagements easier to triumph over.
  • Implementation of a Scouting Element in "Hawkeye" provided valuable intel for Assault elements to capitalize on.
  • Soft implementation of the UNSC Ruleset, through the Role lockout and the ban on Rallies, is a step in the right direction. See below for further comments.
Cons
  • Troopers within the Hellbender 2 Element as a whole had no cons or negative experiences to report on.
  • As Element Leader, I would highlight the following as things to be considered going forward:
    • Increase our implementation of the UNSC Ruleset. Troopers will find it easier and easier to acquiesce to the restrictions placed on External PvP events if we introduce the concepts more frequently. Primary example would be to restrict revives to the Medic role; this encourages closer Section/Element cohesion.
    • Providing advanced notice/earlier communication on usage of Artillery Assets.
