Pros:
  • Excellent OP concept: 2 teams Raid 1-life with dry-runs
  • Dry runs provided opportunities for refinement for better execution
  • Communication was SUPERB both intra and extra squad
  • CQB was "chef's kiss" from B3, as well as all SBF and security postions
  • Every member in the squad executed today

Cons:
  • 1x Black tag- I am not convinced that some "ARMA" happened with that, a casualty shouldn't call out that they got hit and be dead 10 seconds later, denying -7 their chance to shine.
NOTE: This style of OP won't be for everyone, proper execution of this requires individual Trooper discipline and solid experienced leadership with the ability to see a bigger picture other than just "need moar contact".

Pros:
  • Great MAAW accuracy and deployment.
  • MGs were extremely effective, shifted correctly and engaged multiple targets
  • Communication was excellent inner/platoon level.
  • Learned a lot and left the operation having fun and learned/strengthen skills.
  • Every member in the squad executed today and had fun.
  • Every trooper listened intently, executed, provided essential knowledge and feedback to the success!

Cons:
  • Spacing needs to be dialed in, especially when crossing obstacles such as fences, roads, rocks, etc.
  • Being mindful of over extending squad potential/diverting resources out of reach.

Pros:
  • All troopers seemed to really enjoy the operation, especially the coordination we were able to achieve with extended planning. Personally I had a blast as well.
  • FTLs did an excellent job. They were able to execute the plan we came up with in the dry run at a high level.
  • Bandit-2 took no casualties and was able to quickly push in and complete the objective.

Cons:
  • Some troopers do not enjoy the night time operations largely due to the NVGs.
  • Took a red tag in the dry run due to friendly fire, after calling for a shift fire.

Pros:

  • A fantastic operation.
  • Communication throughout the platoon was on point.
  • Great violence of action on the objective by Bandit-2.
  • Perfect use of the MAAWS and 240s by Bandit-4 allowed for clean and swift movement of Bandit-2 through the objective.
  • Having an hour to sandtable the objective was excellent and allowed for proper planning.
  • Platoon movement was swift and clean on and off the objective.
  • The raid took around 10 minutes from the first shot to the last man on target.

Cons:
  • I have no cons...

Pros:
  • Only took one red casualty
  • Were able to complete objective fairly quickly
  • Squad worked together well to clear out trenches
  • Complex operation where we worked well with Pioneer-4, had good security around allowing us to push through.
  • Really fun op, high intensity
  • Newer FTLs noted a great playground for learning and getting proper time to digest info

Cons:
  • One casualty caused by trooper walking in front of stack
  • A lot of ground to cover in the amount of time
  • The size of the squad with the amount of contact in the trenches led to a lot of down time for troopers in the back.
  • Some confusion on exfil plan

Pros:

  • Good communication between FT's
  • Dry run and planning the OP on the ground was a cool idea, everyone seemed to like it
  • NO CASUALTIES!!! HOORAY!
  • Good fire commands on the live fire, good shift fire calls
  • All around good planning
  • Great OP, really fun.

Cons:
  • For engagement distances, 249's would've been more acceptable
  • Dry run went a little rough, probably because it felt a little hurried due to time restraint
  • The exfil out of the trench could've used some work, a little confusing as to what we were doing but we worked it out.
  • Spacing in the trench needs to be worked on, clogging up the trenches isn't a good idea.
  • Work on echoing commands (should've used squad radio when practicing noise discipline)
  • P5 attachments kind of got in the way of a fireteam holding SBF during the live run, not a major issue but just being more aware could fix this.

Pros:
-Dry run was immensely helpful, provided solid "intel" and let us do some basic CQC training which was desperately needed
-Good movement to and from COI, quick and with very good fireteam formations
-No causalities, one trooper was knocked uncon for a minute but sustained no damage
-Clearing target building was near perfect, took only approximately 3 minutes, infil and exfil went smoothly
-Bandit 3 provided excellent SBF
-FTL comms started spotty but improved as the OP went on

Cons:
-I could use to some more work on platoon communication, it has been a few weeks since I had to use a platoon net and that showed
-FTL's could use more training, always nice to have new FTL's step up and learn but consequently that can lead to delays or miscommunication and just general lack of smoothness, especially in combat
-CQC training is desperately needed with so many new troopers in Charlie CO, recommend either a class or more CQC training in quarterly Charlie Co training plan
