• Viking OP

Cons:

• Mascas in 30 mins before we reached ORP.
• Loadout issues which caused me to load in without a backpack.
• People spawning in weird locations for some reason.
• Respawn issues caused 4 / 5 people (from my squad) to leave after first wipeout.

Notes:

Not the Prettiest of Operation Executions, but I wish for this operation to be re-held at a later date.

I'm just disappointed that we barely got out of our FOB before getting completely shwacked, Even before exiting the FOB there was fire coming towards us for some reason from the enemies.

This could have been orchestrated better.

Pros:

• Bravo-focused, Viking OP
• Raider flight very responsive
• Great comms from Raider Flight and -6/-5

Cons:

• Incredibly poor discipline during briefing
• Too long loadout check and issues with loadouts
• Reconnect / respawn issues (and seagulls)
• Mass cas on exit from FOB

Notes:
When Sierra-4 and most of Viking-4 were dead, from what I heard OIC and 2IC likely as well, somebody had the presence of mind to switch LR to 12 (CAS freq) and call BROKEN ARROW on our positions. The exchange went something to the effect of:

<in calm, collected voice>
UNKNOWN "Raider Flight, we have met , hard, hard opposition, multiple vehicles down and ongoing mass cas. I'm calling BROKEN ARROW on our pos"
RAIDER-1 "Roger that, mark self with blue smoke, enemies in red"
UNKNOWN "Negative, enemies are within knife range!"
<firefight in the background, no further respose to Raider calls>

That person deserves a Purple Heart, or Bronze Star with Valor at least if they survived. It was an epic action and exchange.
