Solids:
  • Interesting Scenario.
  • Strong coordination and flexibility from my guys.
  • Because of our placement and organization, we never went below 7 nodes. We never lost access to commander abilities.
  • Swanson gave me an interesting task, challenging but enjoyable to handle. Looking forward to more from him.
  • Strong gameplan and briefing from Swanson as well.
  • Excellent discpline on defense from Riley
  • Strong roving and spotting from Atkins and Milkovic.
Improvements:

  • Lost Roer River house once because I didn't call for help quickly enough.
  • Numbers in the squad made it tough to keep a good hold on Roer River House without help, the valley and the strongpoint means you have to contest the hills around the strongpoint in order to hold it. That needs a fair # of dudes. It is what it is though, it worked out pretty well.
  • Need better OPS to try to kill my nodes :ROFLMAO: ! My guys only had to rebuild 3 the whole match. We never lost access to commander abilities.

PROS: a lot of fun, very solid team comms were great and everyone worked super well together.

CONS: nodes, although supposed to be a large part of the operation, didnt seem to have a large impact on the game, prehaps next time place them one set per collum so they are actually threatened

Pros:
  • Absolute stacked squad. Total studs in my unit.
  • Excellent map markers and command comms communications were utilized to track down their spawns.
  • The defense made the operation an absolute resounding success. They served as a critical backstop for us to maintain our lines and allow offense to kick absolute ass.
  • Recon completely decimated their spawns and nodes the entire match. This displayed a keen situational awareness to serve as an example for the entirety of 2nd platoon.
Cons:
  • There was a little bit of a disconnect on the offense. There were plenty of garrisons and outposts marked, infantry marks, etc. However, some of the offensive units were not working to dismantle their attacking spawns and focused instead on the wrong areas. Map awareness is key.
  • The lack of balance was unfortunate as it tarnishes the win a little bit. Despite the disadvantages that the Axis dealt with, they performed admirably.

Pros:
  • Dynamic of having the node impact mixed with the attack and defend was very fun, original, and would love to play this again.
  • Comms were exceptional, some of the best I have seen in an Operation.
  • Team continued to dig their heels in when we were losing and eventually were able to turn the tides around.
  • Great turnout, thank you to everyone who came out
Cons:
  • None

Pros:
  • Excellent communication within the squad.
  • Great call-outs and pings, we all made up for the lack of visibility at times by relaying information to each other extremely well.
  • An overall great fight, it never felt too easy or too difficult. Axis gave us a hell of a time.
  • Good concept idea with the nodes being tied to abilities/comms. Made us constantly keep on our toes.
Cons:
  • Not necessarily a bad thing but would have liked the plan to have my squad hold the hill last a bit longer. No plan survives contact with the enemy, though, and a team has to be able to adapt accordingly.

Pros: GREAT FTX design. My squad was amazing in teamwork, communication and morale.

Cons: Honestly the only thing we had was it took a few minutes to get our feet under us but once we did...see Pros

Pros:
  • Operation was fun and challenging.
  • Commander was good at maintaining comms and working towards not overwhelming the channel.
  • Command comms as a whole were busy enough but not too busy.
  • As recon, we worked on sussing out flanks and working on finding the outposts and garrisons used.
Cons:
  • Not used to Command comms and by the end of the match, I had a hard time following hot wash after and speaking during hot wash due to my disability.

Pros:
The design of the operation was perfect for the Airborne sections to practice their specialties. Flawless and very fun design. As a commander, it was important not to underestimate the defense of the nodes granting access to assets, as well as the offense, to avoid losing the match. I loved it.

My planning was followed to the letter. My plan for the match start was well executed, and everyone was in their place at the right time. We quickly captured the point with all our nodes up.

Very good communication throughout the operation. At no point did I feel that communications were clogged. All my instructions, requests, and orders were heard and followed.

Cons:
The lack of balance was unfortunate, as it slightly diminished the significance of the victory. Nevertheless, the Axis performed admirably despite the disadvantages they faced

I would have hoped that First Platoon would show up more so we can do 1st vs 2nd.

Pros:
  • Great Squad comms. Boys were very adaptive to orders. We held the southern and eastern line.
  • Commander communicated very well.
  • OP was fun
Cons:
  • A lot of gaps in our defenses. Some major positions were left unguarded allowing the enemy to sneak through the flanks. Especially the southern and eastern flanks of mid point. Our 5 man squad held both fronts due to this factor, and proudly, the enemies were not able to get through there.
  • Not a lot of crucial callouts. I do remember an instance where I had just spawned off the garrison on midpoint and was placing my outpost. Another squad leader was behind me, and I noticed their blip fade (they died), somewhere near where we just spawned near the garrison. I head over to that direction and to my surprise right as soon as I had placed my outpost it got burned, and there was no less than a full squad of 5 or 6 rolling right next to the garrison. This was not called out by the squad leader, and a warning would have been nice as losing, that garrison cost us a good chunk of progress at the time.
  • Not a lot of focus on garrison building, especially for the mid point.
