Version 1.10
  • Added infantry-based Side Objective fall-backs for Sectors in rugged terrain (for example, terrain elevation in N-W Altis might preclude the deployment of a set of Communication Towers and instead a Communications Team with Radio Backpacks are deployed)
  • Integrated guided munitions for fixed and rotary wing assets. This comes hand-in-hand with the deployment of enemy AA with ~5 km effective ranges in every Sector (a fundamental design pillar of the mission files is that whatever the players field, REDFOR can always meaningfully fight back)

I'm curious what is the purpose of tac 1 for the Cav? It to act as a middle between what tac 1 used to be and what tac 2 is?

The purpose of Tac1 right now is to be a low barrier to entry server that appeals to new players, easily gets them into the action, exposes them to the Cav for the first time, and acts as a gateway to Tac2 and joining the Cav. It takes inspiration from the most popular public co-op milsim servers in the Arma 3 community, which is Invade & Annex and CUP based.
