Pros:
  • Lots of fun and lots of combat
  • Chaotic at times added to the realism
  • Infantry movement was excellent and was the saving grace for the most part.
  • Air assets were great through out the whole operation

Cons:
  • A little slow at times, often pushing in blindly to contact, rushing due to slow pacing
  • Some blue on blue due to lack of coordination
  • Some separation in the platoon caused some casualties and platoon organization issues
  • Setup was a bit slow, hard to get moving at the start due to briefing in game.
  • Misfit Callsign change caused communication and bluforce tracker issues.
  • Better planning from the start and more detailed orders for the squads
  • A lot of discussion in moments where action needed to be taken
  • Lots of ARMA issues causing casualties and air asset issues
  • Birds not very capable of holding as many PACs as able

Pro:
  • Love Vietnam ops
  • Flights performed well in conducting attack runs with Infidel and coordinating reinserts
  • Admired tenacity of everyone digging in and fighting through issues to get the job done

Cons:
  • Some preset loadout may need updating we were missing thing such as earplugs/toolkits, radio's and so on.
  • ACRE issues at times
  • No Fixed Wing pilot could have really used a Hog/Phantom pilot
  • Had a lot of issues getting ARMA'ed numerous times, lost engine(s) with bird green, ground clip on T/O caused crashed etc....
  • Flight lead had trouble staying organized as numerous ARMA'ed incidents took place in succession left infantry waiting unfortunately
  • map tough to fly in, very tight LZ's and slopes, bird at max weight with 6 pax onboard, were flying with 14-15 at times trying to keep up
  • Flight lead only one permissioned to repair vehicles even when other elements had repair kits
  • Fuel bladders not working and repair/refuel/rearm not marked so had to look for it with jeep as Buffalo had very low fuel level after ARMA'ed
  • had crews available to do reinsert when players got TP'ed due to miscommunication
  • LZ's very tight and birds power limited

Pros:
  • People tend to love the Vietnam OPs!
  • Use of RTOs and limited communication added an extra layer of difficulty that was enjoyed.
  • The chaotic nature of the operation was considered intense and immersive.
  • Once the first objective was taken the platoon was able to reconsolidate.
  • Efficient self-aid and stabilization of wounded.
  • Decisive react to contact a majority of the time.
Cons:
  • The LZ wasn't optimal due to being in the sightlines of the enemy objective.
  • Staggered squad assaults, not platoon assaults.
  • The fight to maintain momentum through a jungle environment lead to a few reckless pushes which caused further stagnation and only compounded the issues of staggered assaults.
  • Some blue on blue due to difficulty in communication.
