PROS:
-while under heavy fire, leadership sustained
- majority of casualties were saved
-accurate fire on enemy
-pushed all objectives
-2IC did their job
-moved their asses for IDF
-very aggressive (VoA)
-stayed cohesive as a squad
-My troopers had an extreamly good time and overwhelmingly said they enjoyed the mission and how close we were able to stay together as a squad

CONS:
-leadership kept getting downed
-behind bandit-2 unable to support them for majority of time
-people on verge of death from unable to reach atlas long enough to get fixed
-unable to resupply properly the whole op due to IDF and absolute chaos
-the op was not slow enough to find a 10-30 minute break in fire to allow us a breather

SL REMARKS:
-platoon became fragmented due to two main factors, one; initial contact within jungle caused a mass cas within 1st we then bounded up bandit 2 up to the next point in which platoon was engaged on a fragmented platoon line. The second factor is the platoon needed to push while in line to get to hard cover in the city en order to not get killed. at this point bandit squads were about 120 meters away from each other and pushed separately NW
-the sniper mg pair was one of the most memorable moments for my squad and a great showing of how to flank and frack a machine gun nest

PROS:
  • Great mission concept; well thought out and fun
  • Tanoa behaved well enough (no extraordinary frame loss)
  • Aviation element stayed busy (lots of transport activity; good employment of CAS)
  • Excellent comms with Infidel, and air-air coordination

CONS:
  • Lack of pre-planned re-supply boxes at main base
  • Start was delayed (waiting on our joint force guest)

Pros:
  • Lots of casualties to patch up
  • Solid attendance despite friendly clan having low attendance
Cons:
  • Poor react to IDF
  • Disorganized and lacking comms
  • The assault was only truly committed to by part of the platoon
  • Operation itself had to be thrown together last minute

Pros:
  • Good mission concept.
  • Comms between birds were excellent.
  • Preliminary brief good. Map was nicely marked with Lines of Advance/Axis of advance. Phase lines always appreciated by Alpha Co. so we know the progression of mission and anticipatory FLOT lines and can roughly infer potential safe Primary and Secondary LZs and Egress routes.
  • Whitfield.L did a great job as CC (as always) and later alternated roles to PIC of Buffalo-2, where he also performed well.
  • Good turnout for a Saturday Op.
  • Surprisingly good server/FPS performance given that a) it was on Tanoa, and b) relatively high player count.
Cons:
  • No extract at ENDEX which IMO should always happen in operations (i.e. Milsim fidelity)
  • Resupply efforts were extremely impeded by a substantial breakdown of communications. Buffalos simply could not reach our point(s) of contact despite multiple efforts over a lengthy period of time. This was not an ACRE issue, just a simple and unfortunate breakdown of comms.
  • Resupply efforts were further hampered by not having standardized Ammo crates available for quick deployment to ground forces. My understanding is that some of aspects of the mission were "last minute" but this has happened before. It would be very nice to assemble pre-assembled ammo/medical/resupply crates just like we used to have. This helps us help the ground forces in much more expeditious manner.
  • Would have been nice if Buffalo-2 could have been crewed by at least a CC.
  • Unfortunately Buffalo-2 was "Arma'd" and lost in a crash due to no fault of the pilot.
  • Attack aircraft utilization should have been robust, including Apache/Sparrow/Fixed Wing assets. Although mission concept was good and fun, given the fact that there were North Korea nuclear weapons and Christian Genocide involved, military response would certainly have been much higher profile (maybe even DEFCON 4), with maximum levels of force/violence to neutralize such a potentially catastrophic situation. As such, the array of air attack assets should have been available, for maximum precision lethality in an extremely dire situation.

Pros:
  • Coordinated well with Air when needed
Cons:
  • ZSU stopped us getting Buffalo in for any CAS missions, had no way to taking it out so Buffalo-1 spent the entirety of mission performing reinserts/resupply
  • Due to this, Infidel-1 essentially turned into a forward recon team, while still fun, doesn't fit the role of infidel
