  • Overall decent react to ambush enroute to Obj 2, though some vics did get bogged down
Cons:
  • Slow movement through ambush by some of the lead Humvees leading to casualties after one vic crashed into another
  • Lack of urgency by infantry squads during IDF fire at first Obj while transitioning to Obj 2
  • Saber was isolated at the ambush site leading to its destruction

Element Callsign: HAWG-1
Element Leader: Specialist Whitfield.L

Pros:

  • Solid Communication with INFIDEL-1 on LR12 & BUFFALO/GRIZZLY Flight on LR02
  • Tried to share the targets with SABRE-1, looked awesome seeing them blast a vehicle
  • Spotted around 5 QRFs + 1 Ambush, dealt with them accordingly (x8 BTRs + x4 Urals total)
  • Dealt with multiple ZSU-23's on tail-ends of Gun Runs
  • Evaded & shot down MiG-29 with Guns
  • Weapon Choice solid dependent on Target & other Considerations
  • Multiple Danger Close runs, no reported Blue on Blue
  • Nice change of pace with taking off/landing on a Carrier for the A-10C
  • No loss of A-10C Warthog Airframe
Cons:
  • Failed to update ISR Markers for stretches of time, unknown if it affected GUNSLINGER Plan/Situational Awareness
  • Unable to wipe up Ambush Killzone due to SABRE clearing it up, then saw them get taken out in the end
  • INFIDEL-1 had to switch between LR12 & LR14 on the same LR Radios
  • x2 T-72 MBTs spawned in Objectives just as GUNSLINGER was pushing around 300m away...
  • Multiple Public Players taking Air Assets, not on OPORD & failed to communicate on any Radios (LR 02/12/14)
  • More snacks & less Sorry! next time

Abate.L Can you try and update your squads AAR? I know you weren't leading it, but since a Recruit led the squad, I don't expect him to post an AAR. If you need any help, just let myself or Storm.A know as platoon and we'll get you sorted.

Pros:
  1. Gunslinger 1&2 medics did a good job helping anyone who was injured and/or unconscious.
  2. We split into two squads two medics to gunslinger 1 and 2.
Cons:
  1. Gunslinger 1 didn't have a long-range radio/ or any communication
  2. CPL.Velasquez. J got unconscious when got out of the Huron.

Pros:
  • Good coordination at platoon and squad level
  • Excellent communication among the teams
  • Expert direction by fireteam leaders
  • Ideal utilization and survivability of M2 HMMMV assets
  • Excellent push through ambush area and regrouping far-side
  • Attached ATLAS-1 elements were reactive and extremely productive
  • Moments of superb mutual support between squads
Cons:
  • Recommend LZ placement further from OBJ for squad organization
  • Typical performance issues in populated scenario
  • A couple instances of Arma glitches where players were sucked into terrain/objects
  • Medical attachment requests infantry promptly render self-aid/bandaging upon injury

Pros:
  • Lots of patching up to help with
  • Medical attachments did well keeping their squads healthy
  • Command coordinated well with getting CCPs set up
  • Consistent aggression on objectives (momentum didn't stall-out)
Cons:
  • Troopers need to be more on-top of self-aid
  • People need to bring their wounded to CCPs when available so medical assets can consolidate and triage appropriately
  • There was a lot of people (including cav members) doing their own thing nowhere near their squads

Pros:
  • Good communication with command
  • Stuff to do
  • Good support from S3 Mission Controllers to support a tank in the mission
Cons:
  • Only 1 dedicated crew plus 1 crew also doing infantry leadership roles
  • Op was too short
  • Sabre crew did not have repair perms to repair tank

Pros:
  • The First insert went well with no casualties
Cons:
  • Reinsert was a total of a 20 min flight.
  • Atlas-4 isn't a rotary MOS, they shouldn't be flying in official Operations, especially doing a transport role.
  • Rotary assets not listed on the Mission posting were in the air space, off communications taking tasking not given to them.

Pros:
  • Good comms with SLs, highly reactive squads
  • Sabre did a decent job with a 1-man crew most of the OP
  • Decent tempo
  • Building clearing went smoothly
Cons:
  • Bad reaction to convoy ambush, vehicles stopping on the road
  • Landed a bit too close to the first objective
  • My own unfamiliarity with the liberation file slowed down resupply
  • incredibly sudden end to OP
  • Some objective were way too close to each other and spawned an incredible amount of units to attack us

Posting on behalf of Emmer.A so apologies for brevity of feedback as I took no notes.

Pros:
  • Good fun stated by troopers.
  • Brilliant to see people stepping up for leadership who either have not done it before or do not usually do so.
  • Varied enemy kept things exciting and engaging.
  • Good spotreps allowed squad to understand were the enemy is.
  • Utilised motorised assets as a force multiplier.
Cons:
  • Slightly disorganised movement with squads overlapping each other and members becoming very close in proximity.
  • More planning could of been made and executed in response to each objective.
  • Convoy protocol not followed. Always push through contact and maintain position given in convoy.
