Announcement MILPACs now Active

I’ll paste that here for those who can’t view it:

Hello all,

I know everyone is eager to have Milpacs up and running ASAP since they're integral to everything we do, so I wanted to make a post outlining what the rollout process will look like on our end. This is our priority list for the migration once they are ready for S1 processing (as of now, they are not ready for us just yet):
  1. Create basictemplates for all active members with current primary and secondary roles to allow proper forum permissions
    • Goal is to have the basic framework completed within a few days of Milpacs going live.
    • Uniform updates, citation linkage, and other non-essentials will be backfilled later
  2. Update backlog of most recent updates (anything posted on the new forums from after furlough, as these are most current and most impactful)
    • Goal is to have this completed within 1-2 weeks of Milpacs going live
  3. Create basic templates for ELOA members and Reservists
    • Goal is to have this completed within 1 month of Milpacs going live.
  4. Begin fully migrating entire Milpacs, complete with uniforms and citations, for all active members.
    • We will do this platoon by platoon, week by week, in sequential order, until the entirety of the active roster has been completed. See the table below for further.
    • We will not be migrating the Milpacs of discharged members unless they request such in a specified thread (to be posted), in which case they will receive a basic template.
      • These requests are very low priority and will be handled as such.
    • Understand that the full migration will take a SUBSTANTIAL effort from the S1 department and will take up to several months to fully complete.
We ask that tickets only be submitted for CRITICAL issues that directly impact your Cav duties, such as lacking proper department roles to view forums, not being able to post roll calls, etc. Any other tickets will be backlogged under low priority with no ETA on resolution. We will get to them when we can.

Please do not submit tickets asking when your Milpac will be finished. They will be ignored and closed. Please refer to the table below for your unit's ETA.

Adler.J Mackey.A Huge effort my S1, just want to plug that we will need to consider milpacs for new members as well, we have about 20 in the pipeline, not sure if we can get them in the first round, just want to be sure they are thought about in early as posible as 1-2 months wait for them would be unfortunate!

Current updates like that will still be handled normally. Timelines may be slightly extended due to the backlog of the overall port but things like that won’t be pushed that far back. Keep an eye on them and if a regular update has taken more than a week, submit a ticket.
