Pros:
  • Flying a difficult airframe can be a fun challenge
  • Great idea for a TVT op
Cons:
  • Enemy fast movers always engaged at great distance, and the airframe we were given was not maneuverable at all to evade missiles.
  • No crew at the beginning, got AI crew, they didn't do anything, then Peterson joined.
  • Was not able to actually engage any targets due to enemy air.
  • Was an airframe we never use and had no practice on it.
  • Comms between ground got confusing due to all comms being on one net, and and friendlies not always providing their current locations as a reference.
  • Firing one rocket kept firing the entire pod of rockets.

Pros:
  • Good idea for an operation
  • The infrastructure of the op seemed to work pretty well
  • Infantry did extremely well on the ground
Cons:
  • Flight suit didn't spawn on respawn, blacked out during combat
  • Long respawn timer

Pros:
Plenty of contact

Cons:
80's theme for new game types does not always work
Medical teams not needed with death rate
everyone needs radios to maintain accountability with the large death rate
Felt like a king of the hill just throwing bodies at redfor

Element Callsign: HITMAN-6 (OPFOR)
Element Leader: Second Lieutenant Hilberg.A

Pros:
  • The team did exceptionally well. Treated Point Bravo as the Operational Base.
  • BLUFOR kept us on our toes, constantly pushing and pestering.
  • Great initiative on the individual troopers and FTLs, pushing out and holding terrain, countering attacks, and retaking objectives.
  • Managed to push through some challenges on equipment, but all supporting assets did an outstanding job. When they could fight and we needed them, they were force multipliers.
  • 7th CAV rules and SOPs were followed to a T. Kudos to all troopers for doing it right in a newish environment.
Cons:
  • Equipment issues back at spawn for aviation elements.
  • Lack of turnout led MM to have to call a lot of audibles, increasing his workload and leading to long lead times on getting necessary equipment.

Element Callsign: HITMAN-7

Pros:
Overall really enjoyable
Good small team tactics
Good conduct by members from what i observed

Cons:
Medical equipment was lacking
Radio's need to be available for FTL's at the very least it was too difficult it maintain organization
It was too difficult to locate ATLAS team effectively and have them in good positions due to lack of knowing where friendlies are

Pros:
  • Tremendous Fun
  • This concept is better for TvT than the paintball-esque tourneys of seasons past
  • Great comms between myself and 1-A
  • Great comms between myself, 6 and 7
  • Great strategy of breakout of squad holding down the fort at PB (Point Bravo), fighting and holding PC, and taking, and retaking PD.
  • Excellent force multiplier by air assets, when they were able to be on station thanks to comms between 6 and air.
  • 7 was clutch at PB in many instances and got some great trigger time in
  • Great visibility from PB to call out actions to squads between PC, PD, and PE
  • SABRE unit did their thing independently and we couldn't have done it without them, especially around PA
  • BLUFOR and OPFOR air really added to the overall atmosphere (no pun intended)
Cons:
  • beating a dead horse with the kits (personally M60 ammo in kits and resupply vic but my ARs had MG3s)
  • muh radios

Pros:
  • A lot of gunplay
  • Nice change from the usual OPs

Cons:
  • Lack of medical equiptment
  • Overall very limited gear
  • No personal radios
  • Pretty much no medical, atlas's role felt redundant in this OP
  • Very chaotic, element essentially split up after the first death
