Pros

  • Operation was fun, using less capable vehicles to engage stronger enemy was interesting.
  • Base defense set up was pretty cool. Seemed that everyone got to get on a gun and engage the enemy.
Cons
  • Using an M7A3 BFIST as anti-armor support is counter-intuitive, AP rounds only do so much damage to frontal armor.
  • Vehicle crews NEED to remember to use Local Chat to advise nearby dismounts the vehicle is preparing to move.

Pros
  • Communication in my section was excellent. Communication over command chat for the most part was good. It got hectic at times but I was still able to keep track of our platoon.
  • Successfully held the airport. We received a couple of breaches but we were able to push them back.
  • Building from the different sections was on point and followed the orders as given.
  • All the leadership did an excellent job in executing.
  • Very fun operation and the concept surrounding this mission was great.
  • We completed almost all our tasks.
Cons
  • We had a scout team but it felt like they were useless. They pushed up several times trying to scout the enemy mortars but were killed because we weren't allowed to breach the city. I think in future it would be good to have some stuff for them to do.
  • Enemy armor took an unusual amount of HAT rounds and AP from the Bradley. However, it eventually went down.
  • Didn't have the little bird available the whole time.

Pros
  • Operation was fun, troopers had a good time
  • Troopers enjoyed interesting side missions around the map outside of base defense.
Cons
  • Attacks being large and only from one direction at a time made the defense less fun than it could have been.
  • Defenses being built by more than 1 squad facing the same direction made them less effective.

Pros
  • Overall enjoyable on all accounts.
  • Good info on command net.
  • Good repair station location.
  • Great and clear orders issued.
  • Fun amount of infantry assaults south of the airbase.
Cons
  • Reliance on the M7A3 BFIST 25mm AP was over-the-top. Having only the cannon to rely on against armour is insufficient against everything above BTRs, and potentially a BMP or two. With 70 total AP rounds available, you very quickly run out and have to RTB. TOW variant would be preferable in operations with more armour present.
  • Felt 'hung out to dry' in the scouting mission. A lone Bradley going into enemy territory is a death sentence. Would've preferred some infantry to tag along at the very least.
  • We noticed that mounted-up infantry needs to have good discipline on local comms, as the crew is trying to communicate with each other to get the job done. Undisciplined local comms lead to mass confusion and the crew becoming overburdened.
  • The amount of armoured resistance during the police extraction back to HQ felt very overwhelming, see first con.
  • Unfortunately little troop transporting.
