Pros
First time as a SL
All objectives taken without black casualties
Comms and cohesion with Gun6 and Gun1 were top notch
All troopers had fun
Lots of enemy casualties
Recon worked fine with marks
Zeus was very present
One of my troopers put a German flag on Alpha Humvee
First time in such a juggernaut humvee

Cons
Never used the Humvees for infantry support (fought either fully mounted or fully dismounted)
Forgot to put my earplugs in before the first contact
It took a while to get my FTLs to communicate on the radio
One trooper went ramboing in the second story of the warehouse and got yeeted

Pros
  • Very fun operation from Aviation perspective. Fun and challenging from the start. Well thought out design.
  • Buffalo-1 was busy most of the time and properly and frequently utilized.
  • Always great to have a fully crewed bird with competent troopers, and we did.
  • Transition from original Infidel (Knight) to 6 (Abate) was expeditious, efficient, and seamless. Excellent job there! Both Infidel units did FANTASTICALLY.
  • Enjoyed being called in for Suppression CAS against the treeline. We love Death From Above and Warheads on Foreheads so we appreciated being called in to supplement Raider-1's attack efforts.

Cons

  • It would be EXTREMELY AWESOME if we could incorporate some pre-made, generically loaded infantry ammo resupply crates/boxes, similar to what we have had in the past. This is important because Alpha serves the infantry and when they call, we need to be able to haul in the most expeditious manner possible. Currently, it seems that ammo resupply requests must be done manually, like mag by mag etc. which requires a MUCH more lengthy and tedious time delay in getting our infantry/ground forces the things they want/need/request.
  • Unfortunately, some AI vehicles were wildly running amok around the FOB, even on streets which resulted in several trooper injuries, including myself.
  • Troopers driving vehicles around fellow troopers should keep situational awareness (SA) as a trooper-driven Humvee backed into me, injuring me. This was not intentional, but drivers of vehicles should keep their head on a swivel so blue on blue doesn't happen unintentionally.
  • I am always of the opinion we should have 2 Buffalo birds for multiple reasons (Re-insert, Resupply, QRF, MedEVAC, even operational "stick-time" etc. etc.) For example, it is pretty rare to have a dedicated co-pilot and I only had a co-pilot for the last half of the mission. On the way to Hot CasEvac I was hit and immediately incapacitated and my co-pilot Spitnale.K was able to take control and complete the mission while the others worked to save me. This was a lucky situation because had there been no co-pilot, we would have crashed and burned and the pickup would have been blown. Having a second bird available as a stanby QRF/medical QRF would have been nice and logical.
  • No exfil at ENDEX.
