Pros
  • Very good Stryker comms on the Vehicle net, fantastic work from vehicle crews. Very dependable lot on tonight
  • Great leading & planning from Viking-6
  • Great comms on Platoon Net
  • Fantastic work from ATLAS teams & 7.
  • Great work coordinating with BUFFALO, seamless comms.
Cons
  • Poor Route ORP planning from myself
  • FRAGO intent was confusing until it was ratified.
  • Bumper cars. Lots of running over due to poor visibility
Lessons Learnt
  • Vehicular bounding could be employed more often
  • PSG ought to have a repair kit & repair perms.

Pros:
  • A huge amount of work for both medics and 7. Lots of calls
  • Miracle low amount of black tags. ATLAS smashed it
  • Troopers helping with medical, transporting casualties and assisting with mass casualty incidents
  • Platoon net was decent
  • Medical team had good react to IDF with getting causalities out of harms way
  • Action packed operation
Cons:
  • Low numbers with 3 man ATLAS-1 team was stretched paper thin with amount of calls. ATLAS-1 was tasked to capacity with medical calls and mass causality incidents with other medical calls having to be put on hold. Tried my best to supplement as one man medic team to help ATLAS
  • Large area of ATLAS-1 to cover 2 approaches in dense forests. Sierras helped mitigate somewhat
  • Vehicle getting Armaed and me getting blown up

Pros
  • Good strikes on targets
  • Good coms with all aviation assets in the AO
  • Always fun flying around
  • Cool danger close CAS strikes
Cons
  • 9-Lines for a different target took a bit to get out almost leading to a platoon wipe when a platoon of T-80s rolled up to friendly forces.
  • AA net was tough due to having no way to lock onto said targets with the A-10, better made for an F-35
  • Low turnout
  • Map isnt made for fixed wing sadly.

  • Squad Comms were good
  • Squad formations were very good, and the use of the Sierra and its positioning was good
  • Squad communicated between themselves without micromanagement from SL.
  • Lots of shooty shooty, and action
Cons
  • Not a great turn out
  • Sierra could not repair themselves
  • Had some issues contacting Viking 6 on different freq due to problems with LR

Element Callsign: BUFFALO FLIGHT
Element Leader: Specialist Hamm.C "Hooker" (PIC BUFFALO-1)

7Cav Personnel involved:
Chief Warrant Officer 2 Villmarsson.L (PIC BUFFALO-2)

Pros
  • Very enjoyable OP and good OPORD.
  • Great teamwork with air assets and ground. Great job everybody.
  • Excellent Comms with VIKING-5. Well done sir.
  • Loved the extract at endex... worked really well with the Blackhawks. Was prepared to do Grizzly extract, but best with Bhawk.
Cons
  • Low general turnout (especially Alpha rotary- if we could have had one more come out serving as CC or DG, we could have had one primary bird and one cover bird (with dedicated CC or DG) but that didn't happen today. BUFFALO-1 and BUFFALO-2 pilots alternated PIC and CC so each could have fun and appreciable stick time.
  • Map small and a little 2-D IMO. Other maps are more fun and certainly more challenging.

  • We were killing it today and doing a great job.
  • Mission was well designed and entertaining.
  • Very few amount of black tags for only 3 medics very shocking.
Cons:
  • Low turn out.
  • Atlas stretched very thin over a 3km platoon.
