AAR feedback: It took me awhile to get my bearings, being the first operation with yall. After i got my grounding it was tremendously better, both for myself and for team cooperation. Moe.J was fantastic on the gun and provided good information on maneuvering around the map.

Pros

• Lots of fun flying, doing recon, and performing coordinated CAS strikes
• Good placement of Helipad

Cons

• No established SOP for Helis or CAS Helis so comms and ROE were a little weird and inconsistent

Pros:

• Excellent communication.
• Good usage of 3 D's and cardinal directions. Huge improvement from section practices.
• Had a blast and a good group in my squad.
• The concept and execution of the operation were very well done, huge props to Ryan and Arco!
• The platoon completed the mission, aside from capturing two HVTs.

Cons:

• Having a clear-cut succession of command in the operation order for everyone to keep in the back of their mind. Delorme did very well to pick up where Maddox left off when he crashed.
• Need to keep working and reinforcing having spacing, where terrain/conditions allow.
• Some more CQB would be enjoyable.

Pros

• enjoyed the op all the recruits and privates who this was their first op had a lot of fun and enjoyed the operation.

Cons

• Need more diversity with the enemy. The enemy felt as if they were only on the point and not trying to re-take the point.

• Communication within and without the unit was great
• Coordination with infantry was effective and concise

Cons:

• Little engagements outside of the specific objectives
• Lack of infantry spotters made attacking objectives somewhat blind
