Pros
  • Really difficult flying, good practice
  • Very cool aesthetics and awesome low flying at night
Cons
  • Night vision + Low Visibility made police helicopter quite useless
  • Very difficult to spot anything
  • Could use testing of parachute functionality

  • Fantastic concept, everyone loved the idea

  • People felt they were set up to fail (they were, on purpose)
  • Spawn issues
  • Rules unclear to some
  • Lots of discord talk by the Missions Controller hampered efforts to coordinate in game voice

Pros:
  • Enjoyed the idea of the operation!
  • Had fun and there was a good turnout.
  • Good group to play with.
  • Good feedback to take forward in building more operations like this!
  • We killed the HVT but didn't understand how we would capture him.
Cons:
  • Need more commands from myself and the FTL's. Once we made first contact, it fell apart and became chaotic. Clear, concise orders. Using our different formations and tactics. Setting an ORP/AP and using more controlled movements to take the objective with less chaos.
  • Consider having a PACE plan for when things do fall apart.
  • Groups 1 & 2 were out of mutual support for the start of the operation.
  • Issues with crashing, lagging, NVGs not working properly and issues with spawned objects (getting stuck on a cone with an MRAP).
  • Rather than going in with a vehicle, we should have considered dismounting offset from the target building and heading in on foot.
  • Establishing Palerider Platoon succession of command during the briefing.

Pros:
  • Operation was overall fun!
  • Group 2 was able to get within 300M of our objective without detection.
  • Reaction to first contact was stellar -- Group 2 sustained zero casualties.
  • Group 2 was able to fulfil our primary objective of SBF despite contact with the enemy.
  • Night time raid was a cool idea.
  • I enjoyed the hurry up and wait pacing of the operation -- very MILSIM lol.
Cons:
  • Break of immersion when Group 1 respawned at an objective Group 2 was enroot on foot to.
  • Most did not enjoy the hurry up and wait pacing of the operation.
