Pros:
  • Lots of contacts
  • Solid ambushes
  • Great jungle warfare
Cons:
  • Jungle isn't the best for vehicles
  • React to ambush needs some work
  • Turnout was low, shown 9 in attendance but all said and done, we had a 4-man fireteam, a SL, a driver and a gunner by the end. We need Cav members to start showing up to this stuff and staying throughout. Ops are regularly 2 hours long.

Pros
  • All designated targets located and destroyed
  • 5 Successfull 9-Lines
  • Good Communications with Eagle 2 flight
  • Good Communications with Eagle 1 flight
  • Good Communications with Buffalo 1
  • No casualty
  • Alot of fun
Cons
  • Got a little slow waiting for Eagle to check back in on LR Net 13 after targets were located and 9-Lines prepared
  • Should have brought NVG due to it getting very dark by the end

Pro:
Fun
Plenty of medical work for both medics
Good teamwork
Infidel-1 on point for a medical resupply

Con:
No Platoon Medic
overuse to 40mm around Civs
Load-outs still using wrong kits (quickclots, double items)
People lost their focus when taking to much contact
Many times overwhelmed with contact which is resulted in heavy causalities
Medical not being called on 20 as it also SOP
both Medics took heavy injuries when Platoon took heavy contact

Pros
  • Great mission design from an aviation standpoint
  • Good coordination while birds were on station
  • Challenging operation
  • Rounds on target no blue on blue
Cons
  • Channel swapping caused a long delay in support that slowed the mission on the ground with some ineffective strikes

  • Carrier mission
Cons
  • Carrier would randomly eat F-18s

Pros
  • Lots of missions
  • F-18's are tons of fun
  • No desync or ACRE issues
  • Good comms
  • Great performance with carrier landings all around
Cons
  • Tanoa is not an ideal fixed wing map, an attack rotory asset would be more suited
  • Aircraft carrier must C O N S U M E

Pros
  • Extremely fun and busy for Buffalo-1 with re-inserts and logistics/resupply.
  • Carrier ops are really fun and offer a unique variation from land/airbase ops. Would be SO COOL if carrier was fully functional (i.e. moving etc.).
  • Buffalo-1 aircrew teamwork was off-scale fantastic. (Especially coordination with near-IMC and dark conditions near the end).
  • Quasi-IMC conditions in concert with night conditions created a very challenging and fun situation for pilot and aircrew.
  • Excellent comms with Pegasus, Infidel, Ground and Air. Chief Spitnale was delegated comms and did fantastically as always.
  • Great Crew Chief is worth their weight in Gold.
Cons
  • Repair facilities on Carrier unfound/unavailable. Buffalo-1 did not take significant damage (no cautions/warnings/yellow/red/injuries/casualties) but even small arms hits causes a "shimmy" shaking/vibration in the cockpit which is very annoying. Repair options would have been nice.
  • Always need 2 helicopters minimum IMO, specifically UH-60 Blackhawks. While I was happy to be super-busy and utilized, a second B-hawk should have been present, optional, to rotate tasks between re-inserts and/or logistics/resupply but also for MedEvac and QRF purposes. Further, having another bird gives Alpha Co. Pilots and Aircrew more official operational training and experience.
  • AH-64 Apache, as always, would have been an extremely nice and flexible asset to Infidel, as an option. That could have been a big utilization.
