Pros:
  • Plenty of work to do, lots of red casualties to work on when we could.

Cons:
  • Lots of DOAs.
  • Chaotic and Disorganized at times.
  • The low medical personnel made splitting the platoon a poor decision which resulted in unnecessary black tags.
  • The plan from what I heard was not being followed.
  • Complicated plans tend to make Ops unenjoyable for some.

Pros:
  • Great mission and great fun. Great job Godfather and MM/MC.
  • Good and understandable OPORD.
  • Great job by CC Peterson.L Great job by Grief.A ... you guys are very appreciated.
  • Challenging OP with Suboptimal LZ's ... so I seriously flirted with the idea of fast roping but was able to scout a decent LZ. Keep in mind that we can't always depend on LZ's due to all kinds of variables and due to AA threats we can't always continue low recon flyovers to find something close, so everybody needs to understand how fast roping works and how it is executed.

Cons:
  • Definitely the PIC will always pick the best place to land, however in our support role, we always want to accommodate -5 and Ground Forces as best we can. Some of the LZ's optioned were at best suboptimal and at worst undoable.
  • There was a significant delay in Buffalo-1 delivering reinserts. This was a problem. I was the flight lead of the Buffalo Flight. When my frames dropped, I advised our crew that I needed to reboot, to get my frames back up (from 7 back to 30) and be back in a second. During this time, my CC realized that other troopers needed reinsert and took initiative to try and fly them there. Turns out he had flight controller problems and that resulted in a delay and ultimately a crash. As this is concerned, I believe there was a major malfunction in my instructions communication which, as Flight Lead, I take full responsibility for.
  • Very small Alpha turnout.
