EDIT: Not claiming the aircraft exclusively for the whole op, just indicating I'll be there and ready to commit unspeakable crimes against our enemies fly a plane. Will happily swap in and out!!

The meaning for the slotting is to be a place holder for folks who want to know what is available Corbin.R . But yes you can

Much love, but I will want to bump you mate from CHAOS-1, at least for the first few mission slots :)

If we turn out to have more than two flights at the same time, we will share and CHAOS-2 is yours!

I, SSG.Phillips.B, desire an RTO where needed (Company preferred but willing to work in-squad depending on numbers)!

Unsure where the RTOs will be needed but I demand to be put under the psychological stress of listening to Sam for 24 hours!

We really need to think hard about how and who are going be using which radio channels as some channels require constant monitoring and responses. In the past we've used a medic per squad in Vietnam ops but im pretty excited for the challenge of running ATLAS teams!
  1. Will the ATLAS teams have their own assigned RTO, vehicle radio, set CCP's, PJ's or other?
  2. If -7's have to use the platoon RTO's to contact ATLAS then the PLT RTO's are going to be extremely overworked to the point where its going to be impossible to juggle the channels and severely inhibit the ability to pass vital information to and fro. Possibly adding a second platoon RTO per platoon or augmenting the platoon medic to hold more of an RTO dispatcher role with reduced medical supply load may be a solution. What are your plans?
  3. PACE plan emergency night time (slide 8) states rapid flashes skywards with a flashlight which is not feesable as the flashlights are so poor and dont really cast a visible light cone. I recommend changing to hand flare signal of a specific color or other method.

EDIT:
After doing some further reading (https://www.battleorder.org/us-airmobile-1965 - See "Additional Equipment" at the bottom) 2 short ranges (literally walkie talkies aka AN/PRC-6's) were issued to PLT HQ and individual squads also held a single PRC-6 Radio. Im not sure if you want to follow this for ATLAS/-7's but it would enable at least some method of communication without needing extra slotting.

Gents I have updated slotting to be a little more clean and better organized. There is also a new callsign as well

Normally how this has been done for the previous Prairie Fire ops has been with -7 acting as their own RTO (so they give up some medical equipment to carry a radio) and then each ATLAS team has one medic who cuts down on their equipment to act as a team RTO

I'll slot in as PSG after the first 6 hours of Zeusing unless I get bumped of course.
