Last MILSIM group I was in was called the Terran Republic Assault Force on Planetside Two. The group has not been active for a number of years, and I have not played in a MILSIM since.
Their website is no longer active, but I served as a core member of our specialists unit. We were a unique group that dropped behind enemy lines to soft-cap points, cause sabotage, or harass/terrorize the enemy in order to draw them away from other, more substantial targets. We operated in a small, tight knit squad with well rounded skill sets. I'm not sure what a real life equivalent would be, but we had a lot of fun.
