Pros:
  • Great comms and intel through map markers
  • Good defense. We never seemed to linger too far from the cap point, and our line had good coverage.
  • Tanking with infantry support seemed to go smoother this match
  • 7cav
Cons:
  • none

Pros:
  • Overall Armor gameplan was robust but effective, even with the more aggressive play that isnt as common for us
  • Guillermo's recon "gremlin" style play was very effective, giving us a great deal of intel and disrupting enemy defences.
  • Infantry callouts were on point, really solid job helping us see the battlefield before us
Cons:
  • None seen at this time

Pros:
  • Great & concise command communication & squad chat was stellar with my guys
  • Lawton & Chaplin did fantastic jobs disrupting enemy pushes/garrisons/OPs from the flank
  • Seemed to be amazing coordination between infantry squads and tanks throughout most of the match
  • Fantastic 7th Cav Win
Cons:
  • 173rd not really up to snuff, excited to see how the group performs next weekend against TOG

Pros:
  • Executed our plan well.
  • Never really felt our control over the mid point was in danger.
  • Shifted troopers east when needed to great effect.
Cons:
  • Only had our one garrison up at the start of the match for quite a few minutes before taking point and building one there. If enemy recon or some other element detoured the point to look for our spawns and found it, we would have been isolated and possibly needed a full reset. Should maybe work on ensuring we have 2-3 garrisons up to attack initial point with. Also would help diversify attack locations.
  • West side was roasting marshmallows for most the match.

Pros:
  • General layout and plan was familiar and clear, we have a very strong selection of Comp SLs and TCs
  • Command comms were never too cluttered, very clear as to when our squad was needed for a task
  • Comms with artillery were very clear, was easy to identify their targets and give them new ones
  • Designated truck drivers performed their job excellently
  • Squad cohesion and teamwork was top notch with excellent comms identifying targets, angles, paths, and coverage
  • As Airborne East Attack we were in the thick of the action for most of the map, tying up their infantry near Cemetery
Cons:
  • In squad callouts could have been more prompt
  • Bluezone attacking garrisons were not maintained 100%, had to run over 400m to get back in contact with the enemy
  • Timing of moving to attack after capping center point was unclear, we just waiting for an opening and took it, hoping the rest of the team could handle the spot we were watching. (Planning and ZOC made this easier)

  • Front line defense so on point that it made out job easier

Pros:
  • Likely the best coordination between Infantry and Armor we've ever had.
  • My tank crew scored 8 kills, 0 deaths for the whole op.
  • Armor beatdown of opposition; allowed us to operate aggressively.
  • We took the opportunities they gave us/ capitalized on their mistakes.
Cons:
  • Let's see how we look going up against tougher opposition next week, I think we have eclipsed the 173rd as demonstrated by the outcome.

Pros:
  • Great intel from Infantry, allowed the us to pinpoint and destroy enemy garrisons
  • Our intel gathering of enemy tanks allowed our Heavy tanks to take advantage of the intel and take out multiple panthers and PZ4s
  • Back line disruption from us went mosty uncontested, allowed us to take out supplies and AT guns in their backlines
  • The event itself was very well organized, no issues with enemy team not following ROE
Cons:
  • Some friendly enemy garrison markers were innacurate or were outdated. Updating the map markers for enemy garrisons would greatly improve our backline disruption activities.

Pros:
  • Excellent execution of battle plan by all elements
  • Solid defense made it easy to hold off the enemy and organize multiple attacks without taking undue risks
  • Outstanding discipline by all elements kept Garrisons up and sectors covered
  • Armor was dominant
  • Artillery was well organized and highly effective
  • Great opportunity to shake out our strategy in preparation for more challenging opponents
  • Operation went ahead on schedule despite the last minute change of opponent. Credit to S5
Cons:
  • One transport truck left base behind schedule
  • Miscalculations by artillery and Command led to needless blue on blue casualties on important airhead
  • Opponent was understrength and insufficiently challenging
  • Room for improvement on early garrison tasking
Ultimately this was an outstanding showing for the 7th Cav. We have graduated to a well organized and dangerous competitive team. We certainly have much to learn and can continue to improve skills but this match demonstrated not only solid skills all around but high level cooperation of the entire team. We know can beat 173rd without too much in the way of preparation. What we learned this match is that with solid preparation we are an order of magnitude better.

  • Need tougher opponents
  • Command comms (imo) could be lessened with fewer SLs

Pros:
  • Command comms were quick and concise, responses to calls were just as quick
  • The squad performed functional picketing and skirmishing in and around AA network effectively - responded to calls of fall back and regroup effectively
  • SBF element was keeping heads down and pinned disallowing egress into the defensive areas
  • Tanks Squads performed very well - interacted and supported by close in infantry, weapons platforms exceeded as such
  • Artillery was snappy and on point
Cons:
  • little over extended at one portion on the first take of st mare du mont, however the fallback occurred quickly and effectively

Pros:
  • Good Comms, Good overrall roam control within the grid.
  • Solid Defense ,it never felt like the enemy got a strong foothold anywhere to attack from.
  • Pings on the map were constantly updated so we knew exactly where enemy movement was at all times, could work on cleaning them up a little sooner once the threat is eliminated.
Cons:
  • 173rd didn't put up much of a fight ,and because of that we were all pretty scattered , just rushing trying to find the nearest enemies to kill.
