Pros
  • The platoon did a good job flexing as required
  • Required multiple resupply to remain effective
  • Constant controlled chaos kept everyone on their toes
Cons
  • The air assault was too hot. >50% casualties on the X
  • 1 side exit options did not seem to work (Ronnings.P ) and put people on both sides. May need to test later.
  • Mout got sloppy and led to multiple blue on blue

Pros:

  • Buffalo-4 was enjoyable due to being tasked primarily with Logistics/Resupply. Buffalo-4 was busy and had fun.
  • Despite the likely over-extension of Infidel workload, tasking was coordinated well and comms were excellent.
  • Comms between aircraft and ground were good and effective. (at least for the Buffalo-4 Element)
  • Buffalo-4 was called in to provide overwatch CAS which was effective.
Cons:
  • Other Buffalo elements were under-utilized.
  • Confusion on ESSS helo being mislabeled. Buffalo-4 was listed as ESSS bird, however did not have external stores (aka pylons). Buffalo-4 was not specified as an ESSS bird in the forum post slot list.
  • While the hot LZ was exciting, it was way too hot. A more strategic SAFE LZ should have been planned and executed, especially for initial insert.
  • Extremely disappointed to see the use of Teleports when you have abundant air transport assets. This should not even be a debatable issue. To the maximum extent possible, we need to keep the "Real" in Realism and "sim" in Milsim. Teleports are basically the most unrealistic "Star Trek" thing in the whole game, and while I understand their necessity at times (Arma glitches, malfunctions, anomalies, etc.) they should not be used as a matter of course. In fact, for realism's sake, IMO, all alternative transport options (air, ground, and sea) should be considered and attempted before Scotty beams anybody anywhere.
  • No accessible repair facility on the carrier.
  • As almost always, NO extract at Endex. ["Dead or alive, we will all come home together."]
  • Right Door mini-gun still INOP. Should be fixed in next RHS update.

Pros:
  • Top performance from all involved,. Professionalism when approaching all the varying objectives.
  • Solid leadership allowed for clear communication and movement orders to be given.
  • Quick succession of command by all allowed orders and fire to still be directed.
  • Despite heavy initial obstacles and halts in advance, squad remained highly effective.
  • Good movement through various taskings with well executed building clearing.
  • All members had fun and enjoyed premise of mission.
  • New members got to experience arma AO.
  • Squads effective at staying on line with each and clearing through the town.
  • The idea of operating from a carrier group made for a brilliant setting and created a fitting environment. Look forward to the next.
  • Initial insert, althought a very hot LZ, was well organised and executed by BUFFALO crews.
Cons:
  • Perhaps too many overall numbers for objectives in a small AO. This led to many bottlenecks and overstepping when approaching the objectives. With the numbers and assets at hand we could of looked to spread and attack objectives simultaneously utilising the GUN-4 SBF further.
  • Heavy contact felt very bunched together which gave no breathing room, although target rich environment led to good room clearing execution.
  • AI will always look to utilise 40mm first.
  • Friendly fire incident slowed down our advance.
  • Similar bugs as before. The unconscious bug with troopers not being seen or heard by some. The Trooper phasing in and out bug.
  • Respawns designated to 00,00.
  • Better LR communication needed, especially with numbers we had. Wait for whoever is conversing to finish before starting. The use of over, and waiting for out.
  • LZ insert, although aggressive, was counter productive which lead to multiple casualties before even sighting any enemy.
  • Opportunity for mass BUFFALO exfil missed. Would of been a nice way to cap operation.

Pros:
  • Air Assault (initial insert) was on point. All airframes managed to successfully insert into an extremely hot LZ. Came under fire immediately on final approach from enemies within 100m of the Landing Zone. All airframes suffered damage to aircraft, as-well as crew getting shot.
Cons:
  • After the initial insert, Buffalo-1 sat on the Carrier for 2 hours waiting for re-inserts. As Zeus mentioned during the AAR, there was issues with the respawns not respawning correctly on the boats, forcing Zeus to have to TP them into the AO. I feel like a work-around could've been achieved by moving the staging area to an nearby Island. However, at bare minimum, Buffalo-1 should've been told there was an issue with respawns so we weren't sitting on base for 2 hours expecting respawns that never came.
