STORY:
Following years of political turmoil and economic instability, Scotland declared independence from the United Kingdom and established its own government. However, the move was deeply controversial, and many Scots remained loyal to the UK and opposed the new government.
In an effort to maintain stability and protect its interests in the region, NATO forces were deployed to Scotland to support the newly-formed government and prevent any potential secessionist movements from gaining traction.
However, tensions between the local population and the foreign occupiers quickly escalated, with many Scots viewing NATO as an invasive force that threatened their sovereignty and way of life.
A group known as the Scottish Resistance Front (SRF) emerged, calling for the immediate withdrawal of NATO forces and the formation of a new, independent Scotland free from foreign influence. The SRF engaged in a range of nonviolent protests and acts of civil disobedience to garner support for their cause.
Despite their peaceful tactics, NATO forces responded with increasingly violent crackdowns on the protestors, leading to a sharp escalation in the conflict. In response, the SRF began to arm themselves and engage in guerrilla warfare against NATO.
The situation quickly became a stalemate, with the SRF gaining support from sympathetic Scots and NATO struggling to maintain control over the region. In the midst of the conflict, Russia saw an opportunity to gain influence in the region and began covertly supporting the SRF with weapons and supplies.
As the conflict drags on, the fate of Scotland and the balance of power in the region remain uncertain. 7th Cavalry First Battalion Charlie Company has been tasked with conducting anti terror operations within Scotland Proper.
