Element Callsign: Buffalo-1
Element Leader: Warrant Officer 1 Hamm.C

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:

Corporal Derry.B
Warrant Officer 1 Bloggins.R

Pros:
  • EXTREMELY NICE to have a single point of contact/communication (Gunslinger 8 as RTO). This enabled very concise communications and coordination with excellent and effective brevity and accuracy. Our RTO Specialist Sypolt.R did an outstanding job.
  • Crew coordination was very effective and each crew member knew their duties and executed them flawlessly.
  • Even though it was a little slow for Buffalo-1, and felt we could have been utilized more, we all agreed that it was a very fun and very well designed and thought out operation.

Cons:
  • Battleye disconnections were horrific for whatever reason. Many various players were disconnected and some so repeatedly that it totally prohibited their participation in this entire WW operation.
  • Right Door Gun on Buffalo continues to be completely busted. The only current use for this position is a passenger seat. I did however discover that if you rotate the gun counterclockwise the door gunner can at least clear the right and clear the tail for flight safety.

Pros:
  • Top performance from all involved,. Professionalism when approaching all the varying objectives.
  • Good leadership allowed for clear communication and movement orders to be given.
  • All troopers stated they had good fun and really enjoyed the premise of the operation.
  • A well rounded motorised execution with a variety of taskings and movement types that kept trooper engagement throughout.
  • An overall successful mission that achieved all four objectives within two hours.
  • ATLAS teams directly supported both squads with them being spread out across AO.
  • Fast consolidation of GUNSLINGER-3.
  • Engaged and neutralised multiple enemies that very acted realistically to how they would react against our movements.
  • FOB stand up was a nice way of getting straight into the action.
  • Directly support ATLAS-3.
  • Brilliant work from both 5-6 to keep all cogs moving and on point in getting across AO.
  • No black casualties.
Cons:
  • More awareness needed for short range radios and the effect the terrain has on this in LYTHIUM AO.
  • The necessity for speed to reach last objectives caused the convoy to be slightly adhoc. We could of utilised better convoy protocol with alternative routes and covering sectors.
  • The size limitations of the Humvee and fluctuations in squad sizes throughout the operation. Would it be possible for the squads next week to utilise 1x Humvee and 1x "Battle Bus". This would allow for any joining troopers or transport needs for fireteams broken up. It also allows 5 or 6 to tag along effectively without taking someones seat. Also more advantageous for troopers to engage turned out of.
