Hilberg is a boss doing infidel while being a trooper

Con:
BMP section was chaotic due to air assets + us moving in at the same time due to orders coming through simultaneously

Pro:
Good initiative demonstrated by the squads and excellent reconsolidation and communication from 1, 2, 4
Excellent comms on the platoon net
Excellent mission making and planning from 6 in forming a functional and engaging mission in such short time.
The break contact and reconsolidation was perfect
The CSAR work from Viking 4 was excellent
Excellent company with 2LT.Sam.T and MSG.Maco.D in the Stryker
I enjoyed flexing my position and assisting elements with contact, security and resupply.
Excellent work from the air assets.

Con:
A TP straight to the town would have mitigated confusion and made things go a bit faster.

Pro:
  • A well executed and adjusted mission. Initial contact allowed us to flex and understand how to approach mission parameters.
  • A good use of force multipliers. Effectively responded to any and all enemy assets. Neutralised multiple enemy MBT'S/MECH.
  • Penning the term "Aggressive caution". Moved through assigned areas and flexed enemy through contact.
  • Spotrep and target identification/location on point.
  • Overcame dense terrain, loved map setting and mission objectives.
  • Top notch leadership all round.
  • Effective work from SIERRA.
  • ATLAS always close by and able to rapidly assist.

Con:
  • Minor blue on blue incident.
  • Thermals lacking in suitability.
  • MCA items locked.
Note: Tonight was a brilliant showcase of how dynamic our MOS can be. Recon/Maneuver/Engage/Repeat. Top work all round.

Pro:
  • Solid turnout from Atlas!
  • Good comms.
  • Plenty of funny antics throughout.
  • Despite the low amount of dedicated medical calls, the Atlas teams managed to stay somewhat occupied throughout.

Con:
  • One member of Viking-4 just repeatedly calling for medical during MASCAS triage. Adding additional chatter while the single PM is trying to triage casualties that are actively bleeding and uncon (while the vehicle crew attempts to coordinate movement away from contact) does nothing to remedy the situation. Additionally, self-aide, buddy-aide, and CLS aide are all things to keep in mind.
  • As is typical, a little slow for Atlas outside of the initial contact with OPFOR.

If the Mission Controller can't do it then the Mission OIC Controller can post it. Operation was conducted on 26th of March and now it's April 5th, you have till the end of the day to post the list of attendees.

Kinser.E for awareness

Can you link me the SOP on this? From what I'm aware, the guidance from S3 is that it is on the Mission Controller, not the OIC, to conduct the AAR appropriately unless agreed on by the OIC and Mission Controller.

2LT.Knights is not responsible for this AAR, I am.

I will work through it tonight and update this thread once completed.

After Action Reports
It is the Mission Controller's responsibility to track overall attendance and post an AAR containing the master attendance list within 24 hours of the end of the operation. Mission controllers may delegate this responsibility to willing delegates such as the OIC, other S3 Staff, or any Officer/NCO. While it is not always the OIC's responsibility, the OIC should still be knowledgeable of the process and assist S3 Staff by sending a reminder to all Element Leads to respond to the AAR Post. Element Leads are charged with recording the attendance of troopers within their squad and maintaining their sub-unit AAR response in the AAR thread. All AAR guidance can be found on the After Action Report (AAR) SOP page.

If it is not Posted within 7 Days the OP will not be counted.

As the mission controller, I did not delegate this to the OIC, other S3 Staff, or any Officer/NCO. Therefore, 2LT.Knights is not responsible for this AAR.

As mentioned in my previous post, this AAR is my responsibility, so any issues are to be brought to me. Further problems, please utilize CoC.

Working on updates now.

This post is still missing feedback from Atlas-1 and Atlas-2; if it's alright with everyone, I'd like to throw them into the master list.

I have Atlas-1's feedback here:
Staff Sergeant Mazinski.H
Specialist Albright.J
Corporal Holiday.T
Specialist Davis.D

Pros
  • The team worked well together
  • Interteam comms were great
  • Atlas did multiple drive-bys on Russian troops

Cons
  • Pretty slow with medical calls
  • Need to work on some enemy vehicle identification
  • Need to work on vehicle gunner commands and communication

I'm working on getting Atlas-2's feedback in now
